At the David R Schechter Community Center, we still do not have phones, power, internet or of course air conditioning.
The following classes will resume:
Tennis lessons, Hatha Yoga, Guitar and voice, Adult Drawing and Painting and Have Fun Stay Fit exercise. ONLY MONDAY dance and gymnastic classes.

CITY RECREATIONAL FACILITIES:
The David R. Schechter Community Center is still without power, phones or internet at present time. The Recreation Office will remain closed until utilities have been restored. If you have questions or concerns, please call Satellite Beach City Hall (321.773.4407) and we will try to get your questions to our Recreation staff.
All Baseball Fields remain CLOSED until further notice.
Soccer and Football Fields can resume regular use at this time.
The Dog Park will remain CLOSED until repairs to the fence enclosure can be made.
The Skate Park will OPEN on Thursday, Sept 14th at 10am and remain open until dusk (as power to the lights has not yet been restored).
The Tennis Courts will OPEN Thursday, Sept. 14th at 4pm and remain open until dusk (as power to the lights has not yet been restored).
Pelican Beach Park's normal hours have resumed (9am-dusk).
The Farmers Market on Thursday, Sept. 14th plans to OPEN as usual, at Pelican Beach.

Satellite Beach works to create a sustainable environment! Join us Saturday for the Electric Car Show at the DRS from 10am-4pm and have a free Ride & Drive in an electric car! Did you know we have electric vehicle charging station at Pelican Beach Park? And what are those Blue Tubes on the dune crossovers? Take a trash bag and do a mini beach clean up after yourself to help keep our beaches looking wonderful and keep our trash out of the ocean! Put that fishing line in the fishing line recycle so no creature gets tangled up!
Paddle Out for Robert Rohmann & Pelican Beach Park Goers tomorrow, please use parking at Coldwell Banker Paradise and the empty lot across from Pelican Beach Park as well as the empty lot on the corner of Desoto & A1A. SB Police will assist with pedestrian crossing at Coldwell Banker Paradise. Be prepared for heavy parking and traffic slow downs along this area.
ROBERT ROHMANN PADDLE OUT ATTENDEES AND PELICAN BEACH PARK GOERS tomorrow (Saturday, 6/25)), please use the old Enigma parking lot and the lot at the corner of Desoto Parkway and SR A1A for parking. The City has secured both of these areas for parking, please do not worry about being towed. The SBPD will be assisting people across the street. The City Council and staff extend our deepest sympathies to the Rohmann family. Our hearts go out to you all.
The Pelican Beach Clubhouse is a wonderful location for your special gathering for groups up to 70 people. The clubhouse does book up quickly, so don't delay on making your plans!
