I just created a Fresh rosary for this beautiful and magnanimous soul. May he rest in the loving arms of Jesus. This quote from the obituary stands out as one I hope to emulate--

This story is worth sharing, and this small Catholic business is worth following.

A couple of years ago, my husband & I began a devotion to St Joseph. We didn’t really know a lot about him, and hadn’t sought him as our patron. The more we learned & studied him, it became apparent he was pursuing us.
•
There was A LOT going on in the world. A lot of things changing. I looked around & thought to myself “What a time to be alive…all the evil. The attacks on humanity, Catholicism, the Church…on Jesus & His Mother…attacks on TRUTH.
•
My thoughts began to spiral…

What will happen to me?
My husband?
My children?
My family?

I was laying in bed yet couldn’t fall asleep. I tossed & turned. Then I got out of bed, got some Holy Water & blessed myself. I was still restless. I started to feel a weird presence. I decided to whip out the St Joseph Terror of demons prayer I had saved on my phone. I was SO tired, I needed sleep & heard St Joseph could help with sleep. Plus I had recently learned about my favorite title of his: “Terror of demons” and thought, he can help with this, this is definitely an attack.
•
It had been a long day & while only maybe 30mins to an hour had went by, I couldn’t fall asleep. Right as I felt a tiny bit of peace, God gave me the biggest signal grace I’ve ever gotten.
•
As I drifted to sleep I saw St Joseph, taller than our house. He was standing facing our house, on the corner of our property. He was young, strong, draped in purple. He had his staff, and as I started to fall prey to my fears, I saw a darkness, a black fog of sorts that began to creep around our property. St Joseph turned out toward the street, took his staff in both hands, raised it up & slammed it with tremendous force into the ground. Instantaneously a purple orb & light radiated from his strike & covered our home & property, blotting out any source of darkness & illuminating our property lines. St Joseph the Terror of Demons had come to my aid.

Do not waste a moment to adopt him as your patron! He is waiting to lead you to truth, and is always battle ready.

When a red rose Decade Rosary is requested in honor of a birthday, it makes me smile. When it’s for a husband and wife who share the same birthday, I’m delighted! But when it’s given to them by their adorable daughter who has the exact SAME BIRTHDAY AS HER PARENTS (!!!) I’m completely giddy! Sooooooo, how about when the darling daughter customer sends these be-a-utiful images??? I can’t even. God is so kind to me to let me do this work. Here’s what she said: “They loved it! This is a favorite customer image. She ordered a Red Decade Rosary and White Chaplet Rosary at the same time, and I found a way to ship them together in one box. How did I not manage to share this on Veterans Day???? This is my . The family chose to drape a pink full-size rosary of 53 fresh roses on their loved one’s casket, and it turned out beautifully. May the souls of the faithful departed Veterans Rest In Peace!

I spent time reading Interior Castle this summer, and this quote jumped off the page. In the prime of life 600 years ago, this dynamo of a Bride of Christ kept her focus on the interior life, while reforming the Carmelite order, teaching, and writing prolifically. If she lived in our modern secular world, she might be known as a boss-babe. But more than anything, she desired union with the Lord Jesus Christ, and wanted her sisters to desire the same.

At first, the quote made me laugh. It must be timeless to get a little weary of the difficulties of life. If you've ever felt this way, you are in good company!!!
