Let’s talk about vetting a new event planner!💫

The process of vetting an event planner involves taking a deeper look at their portfolio, what they have to offer, and how they communicate and present themselves to the public. Granted, you may come across a few planners that have recently launched their business and may not have a portfolio to review.

So how do you know if they will be a good fit for you?

✨Ask the planner if they are currently working with a client. If so, ask them to share any feedback they have received from their client(s).

✨Ask about their onboarding process and have them walk you through their planning process.

✨Inquire about the type of events they plan. Determine what theme they consider to be the most knowledgeable about, such as classic, boho, rustic, etc...

✨Consider scheduling a face-to-face meeting with the planner to determine if you are able to work closely with them.

✨Identify your needs. This will help you make an informed decision regarding who’s the right planner for you.

✨Last but not least, don't discount the newbie...everyone has to start somewhere!
