MRC is happy to be amongst the Pacific Northwest not only for all the amazing fun outdoor activities but also being so close to the abundance of local fresh ingredients. Everything from its freshest seafood right out of the Pacific Ocean and its feeding rivers to the abundance of produce and meats readily available from all the local farmers. Mark has been in the hospitality industry since the age

of 15 starting as a dishwasher and has found his love and passion for food, culture and creativity all while learning from those around him. Mark has had the opportunity of working with some of Seattle’s premier chefs from learning to fillet whole fish and running a restaurant with Russell Lowell to dancing on the hotline side by side with Holly Smith specializing in Northern Italian Cuisine while perfecting his cooking technique and palate. He then decided to learn the ins-n-outs of the catering world full on while working closely with Lisa Dupar. He has traveled all over South America learning their culture and cooking styles as well as learning from well-known chefs while living out in Chicago. MRC is proud to create a classic menu for your next event whether is for a couples dinner party, celebrating the tying of knots or even a backyard BBQ we are ready to make the event one to never forget. We strive to create new dishes that fit our guests needs from the inspirations that surround us in the PNW.

Our Story

MR fitmeals creator and Chef Mark Riggs has been in the hospitality industry since the age of 15 starting as a dishwasher and has found his love and passion for food, culture, and creativity all while learning from those around him. His travels have led him all over from Seattle to Chicago and even down into South America where he immersed himself in many different cultures and learned about diverse cooking styles. Mark has had the opportunity of collaborating with some of Seattle’s premier chefs.

Mark grew up playing all types of sports (baseball, soccer, football, wrestling & rugby) as a kid growing up with his 3 brothers and has continued his passion for an active lifestyle to this day. With his busy life working in the hospitality industry and staying active finding the time to eat properly with healthy nutritious meals was always a struggle. Spending the time it took to plan, prep, cook and enjoy was not always convenient and meal prep became a second job/ lifestyle in itself. Light bulb-MR Fitmeals.

Now Mark and his team have the opportunity to create exclusive recipes for customers every week, combining classic techniques with healthy and exciting ingredients full of flavors.

Mark wanted to create a system that combined organic, healthy, delicious food that was cooked fresh, with convenience and a reasonable price, so he decided he was going to have to create it himself and do whatever it takes to make this dream come to life.
