As I dove into the planning and design phase with Emilie and Nick, they expressed a desire to celebrate the richness of the land with their friends and family. I instantly thought of a refined farmers market. Teaming up with and chef , we orchestrated a surprise—a spectacular 16ft cheese and charcuterie table showcasing the best of the season.

On their perfectly warm fall day, our Artisan Cheese & Charcuterie concept unfolded, redefining the term “artisan” in every sense. A medley of aged cheese wheels, Italian charcuterie, locally sourced vegetables from SYR own garden onsite, baskets with cut lemons, and potted herbs of sage and rosemary set the stage. The spread also featured assorted jams, grapes, dried fruits, candied nuts, sliced baguettes, prosciutto, various imported salamis, smoked duck breast, and SYR’s marinated olives and sweet peppers.

Guests gathered around, delighting in an approachable spread that went beyond visual appeal—this was a feast meant to be enjoyed, and enjoyed it they did!
