Confused about creating a timeline for your big day? Check out a few of my tips and tricks to get started:

1️⃣ Block out a chunk of time for getting glammed up with your squad! Hair and makeup take WAY longer than you think. Decide early—are you getting up early or sleeping in?

2️⃣ Whether you're rolling up in a vintage ride or hopping on a party bus, make sure to pencil in travel time between venues. Ask your transportation service provider; they are often experts on traffic and potential causes for delay.

3️⃣ Your ceremony will likely take less time than you think! Everyone gets nervous and decides to power walk down the aisle and talk fast when they are nervous! If you want to test out timing, during your ceremony rehearsal have a friend clock your timing.

4️⃣ Let's talk grub, folks! Allocate enough time for guests to indulge in delicious eats AND raise a glass for toasts. This helps conserve time for the dance floor and doesn’t rush anyone. Trust me, nobody wants to rush through dessert!

It's no secret that florals are my second favorite part of any wedding (come on, the cake is pretty good)! Many couples are intimidated by the cost and variety when it comes to picking out flowers for their wedding. This is why hiring a florist who knows what is in season and can create lookbooks for you is key! Choosing in-season flowers helps cut down on costs and makes it easier for your florist to source, maintain, and personalize to your color palette! TIP: Be flexible in color and texture for your flowers, your florist will likely know what looks great together.

Hey, it's good to see your face! If we haven't met already, my name is Erin, and I own Pop & Fizz Event Co.

I've officially been in business for six months, and even though I've been doing large-scale events for five years, I had no idea what was in store for me! I am so grateful for the last six months full of change, working with the most talented people in the industry, and loving on my people so well. I am so honored to have been given the chance to do life with some of the sweetest couples around.
