It’s a bit chilly outside but we have some HOT!!!! deals on our website for Black Friday/Weekend!! It’s the best time of the year to get our best prices on our 2025 Flower Subscriptions- and we have added some additional offerings. We have the Premium Spring(4 bouquets) Our Regular Season ( with 3 sessions to choose from 4 bouquets) and a full season of blooms (8 bouquets). There are only a limited number of each subscription available so snag yours soon! These specials last until Sunday Dec 1 at midnight or sooner when sold out. They will return to regular price after midnight on Sunday.

Everything on our site is sale priced at 10% off until Sunday at midnight- lots of things that are great gifts ( maybe even stocking stuffers- think gift certificate). We do this as a thank you for supporting our small scale flower farm. We recognize how important our community is in all small businesses not just ours. We are so very thankful for your support as we finish up season 3- I just can’t believe it.

👩🏻‍🌾 Hey y’all!!! I’m excited to say we got all the tulips planted in the little field today. We planted somewhere between 800-1000 so that brings our tulip total up to about 2000. Might sounds like a lot/ might not sound like much- but it’s just right for our little farm.

I wouldn’t have gotten it done today before the rain without my good friend Debbie Walton!!! So shout out to her today- no picture with her face but she did allow me to get her boots!🤣 Thanks Debbie I appreciate you more than you know.

👩🏻‍🌾🥶 Happy chilly Thursday!!! It’s so hard to get out from under the covers on cold mornings- I know the real cold hasn’t hit yet but I enjoy being warm on chilly days!🤣

So the past couple of days I’ve been working on getting ranunculus and anemones planted in the tunnel for next spring( I will include some pics so you remember what they look like). It was a little windy today so I just put the sides down in the tunnel and it was wonderfully pleasant inside with no wind! Yay! We planted more pastel anemones, white, orange, and yellow ranunculus- about 800 corms. May not seem like much/ May seem like a lot- but for us it’s just right. We have about that many more that we will find a home for soon. Still have more tulips and narcissus to get in ground and lots of other things- will probably do a direct seeding of some things in tunnel and outside- might be a little late but I’ve done it before so let’s just experiment again. Spring will be so exciting when these beauties bloom! 🥰

Today I also enjoyed a last minute stroll and cutting the last of blooms for a little more joy to bring in the house. I also snipped all the pansies that I could find in good shape to press for dried flowers- something I so love to do but just can’t find time sometimes.

👩🏻‍🌾Good morning y’all! Hope your Tuesday has started out well!

I wanted to say a big thanks to all of you guys who came by the market Saturday. We had an overwhelming response to our XL Amyrillis bulbs! You guys blew my mind! And so much interest in our dried florals and everlasting wreaths ( we have just a few left but I think I’m going to try to make a few more!)

So… I’m excited to say we will have more at our next pop up and market day- and more of a selection as well. We will keep you posted where we will be so you can stop by and grab your gorgeous presprouted bulb for your own enjoyment or maybe it’s a gift for a friend. If you don’t want to wait, message us for farm pick up and we will work out a time for you to pick up at the farm!

While we love all our new employees (that's why we hire them...), this one is extra special. Madison High was a Potter intern this past summer 2024 and she couldn't stay away! She's been hired on as a geologist I and will be working on the orphaned wells methane-measuring project.

👩🏻‍🌾🌺 TGIF y’all!!! Crazy to think the holidays are getting closer but they are!

We will be at Bounty of the Barrens Farmer’s Market on Saturday located at Barren County Extension Office from 8-noon with our first round of holiday amaryllis bulbs and our beautiful dried floral everlastings- hand made by yours truly. You must see these in person to appreciate their beauty- each wreath boasts a minimum of 120 stems of florals/grains but most of them have many more stems than that- some over 200 stems. We will also have some other dried floral options as well.

Our amaryllis beauties are taking off! These aren’t just any old amaryllis- they are the biggest the industry has to offer so that means more flower stalks and blooms that what you find at the typical big box store. I’ve grown these for years for my own personal enjoyment and this year we have them for you. These make the absolute best holiday hostess gifts or just a fun gift to yourself as they slowly come to life. We have them all potted up ready to find a home to enjoy the holiday season.

👩🏻‍🌾 Earlier this week I had the pleasure of attending my very first Kentucky Women In Agriculture (KWIA) conference. I was blessed to attend with friends and blessed to leave the conference with even more friends.

It was a very inspirational and encouraging gathering of strong and innovative women from around the state who strive to work to see their farms succeed and excel. I learned so much and came home with lots of great info to help our farm strive and grow and am looking forward to next years conference. I was slightly intimidated because we have such a small farm but our farm size really didn’t matter to anyone I spoke to. Everyone was so uplifting and encouraging and I got a little surprise of my own……

KWIA choose me as Entrepreneur of the Year. I was very humbled and shocked as you might imagine. I just can’t believe it. I want to say thank you again to all those wonderful ladies in KWIA. You know how to make a girl feel welcome. Thank you to the one who nominated me- you know who you are!😉This is truly an honor that I will never forget. 👩🏻‍🌾

Not sure that I will have my tree and decor up though- I’m a traditional Thanksgiving Day or day after decorator- I just can’t do it any sooner🤣. But I am excited seeing all those who are ushering in the joy of decorating that the holidays bring.

…. So I have been busy in the Downtown Garden Grotto piecing together some beautiful dried floral wreaths today. I already have some pumpkins together and hopefully tomorrow I will have another creation to share as well. We shall see. 👩🏻‍🌾🍂 Hey y’all!! Are you loving this beautiful weather like I am?

Well….. the weather was fabulous for our Dried Floral Everlastings Workshop this past Saturday. It was a pleasure having our guests visit and I had so much fun watching all these beautiful creations come to life. There was a lot of focus as everyone brought all their creativity to the table to make their gorgeous everlasting creations. These everlastings last a really long time! Thanks for coming out friends!

I am behind on listing our dried everlasting creations on the website but hope to have it completely updated by Friday.

….And our fresh cut flower season is quickly coming to a close. We have a very limited supply of beauties left to cut ( yes we still have some dahlias😁) We want to thank you so much for your support during our cut flower season……. So we are offering the last cut flower wrapped bouquets at 20% off. So that’s a Petal Wrap for $8 ( normally $10), a wrapped medium market for $12 ( normally $15), and a wrapped large market for $20 ( normally $25). Thank you so much for your support this year!!
