👩🏻‍💻Figured it was about time I took a couple minute break from my maternity leave to introduce you to this handsome little guy— Meet baby Hayes 💙 He’s the newest addition to the NoLo family, born on June 13th at 4:44:44am. Yeah, you read that right, alllllllllll the 4s! We’re all doing great, enjoying summer and figuring out this new (and amazing 🙌🏻) life of ours. Josh and I love this sweet boy more than we could possibly describe.

The clouds and rain did not stop our first wedding of the year from being an absolutely gorgeous one 🙌🏻 Here’s a little sneak peak of Claudia + Will from their first look on Saturday! The rain held off for afternoon photos and their beautiful garden ceremony, but kicked up right as cocktail hour was getting started. Luckily Belmont’s tent was the perfect space to hold 140 guests AND all of the lawn games that Will built HIMSELF! What a great kickoff to our 2019 wedding season 💕⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Over the years we've noticed some things as wedding planners-- Things that wedding guests do (and don't do for that matter) that kind of drive the bride and groom crazy. Story time! Our styled shoot that is featured on Style Me Pretty today is close to our hearts for more than just the amazing fact that it turned into a real proposal for our couple...

Our models, Mikey and Ainsley are actually EXTREMELY good friends of ours. Really more like family 💕 We grew up, and went to high school, with Mikey's older brothers, and have stayed close to him and his family ever since. That's going on 15+ years now! His dad was in the military so they moved out of Maryland before Mikey graduated high school, but that didn't matter. We still attended graduations and made time to visit in different states.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We met Ainsley when we attended Mikey's graduation for Norwich University and loved her right away. We had never seen Mikey so happy! Fast forward a few years and conversations started about rings and proposals. It's always been a dream of ours to plan a styled shoot that ended in a real proposal, and not only was Mikey on board, he knew Ainsley would love it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The military made things complicated and we changed dates a handful of times, ending up with only about 2 weeks to bring the details together. But these vendors... 🙌🏻 They were incredible. They dealt with our last minute changes and requests and NAILED IT.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You see, we wanted to make sure that the details were not just beautiful, but uniquely them. With Ainsley’s background in architecture we included geometric accents and materials like wood, marble, metal and glass. We also took note of the couple’s love of donuts and included those, along with blue and purples, their favorite colors!

We had so.much.fun planning this day for them. And we had so much fun spending this day with them. We couldn't be more thankful that Mikey included us and we feel honored to have been a part of his proposal. We've said it a thousand times, but we're going to say it again...

How fun is this detail? One of our couples had newspapers printed about their relationship and wedding details! They were displayed on the welcome table as guests arrived and it was such a unique touch. NoLo even made an appearance 😉

Ladies and gentleman, it's almost August 😳 Does anyone else feel like summer has just FLOWN by so far? Quite frankly, this past year has just flown by. We've had a pretty ambitious schedule since last August and we feel like we've barely shared any of it with you. We've had some amazing weddings... we've gone to Alaska... to Ireland... We have SO MUCH we want to blog, so many photos to share and stories to tell... we'll get there eventually, we promise! ☀️ What's been your favorite memory so far?!
