Chloe is a 2025 senior! We captured some pretty incredible shots for her in Colorado last week. She loved the mountain environment for her senior session and I'm so glad we got the opportunity (and perfect weather) to shoot these photos in perfect conditions. I've barely even looked through the photos and I'm SO excited about this collection of images.

I asked Ky and Austin what they wanted us to focus on for their wedding photos. They said they wanted to capture the vibrant love they share, and all the waterfalls. I think we nailed it! I'm so excited about the photos we captured for these two 🤩

I can honestly say that before this past weekend, I had never photographed anyone sitting on top of a cement mixer. That has all changed now and I'm so glad Kylee was advenurous enough to give it a try. I'm also glad Fritz Adventure has a cement mixer that was just sitting there waiting to be climbed on ;)

On Friday night, I was pretty disappointed. The Aurora Borealis started while I was in town at an event. I sprinted home and grabbed my tripod. By the time I set it up, I only had a few minutes to work before the show was over. I had the wrong lens on the camera, couldn't focus the lens in the dark, and couldn't find a flashlight or my phone. I honestly wasn't confident that I even got a good shot because it was fading away pretty quick. Then the weekend came and I was busy. I finally had a chance to look through the camera shots and I'm so happy that I actually did get a few good shots! These shots are not edited much, because I want it to be authentic. In fact, I haven't boosted saturation or color, just clarity to get rid of some haze in the sky. Now, to sit back in awe of what we saw in southern Missouri.

I was driving home from an event when the show started, so I missed most of it but I did get this shot on my iPhone 😬 When I got home I threw my camera on a tripod and tried to get the last bit of the show but it was definitely winding down. I’ll check the camera later.

Just a little hail and this incredible rainbow. I’m glad the storm wasn’t as bad as predicted.

It was supposed to rain all day on Saturday, and instead it rained briefly twice and the sky even cleared at sunset and gave us some gorgeous light to work with. Jenny + Adam are happily married, and I think they are also happy that it didn't rain all day ;)

This was the first wedding I've photographed at Finley Farms and Ozark Mill. I'm to go back! This whole crew that I worked with made it really special too. They had so much joy and their wedding was so meaningful. I'm thrilled to share a few more shots from Morgan & Ryan's wedding.

Do you know Morgan? I barely know her, but I've gotta brag on her for a minute. She had a gorgeous outdoor wedding + reception planned, but the extreme wind forced her to abandon those plans ON WEDDING DAY. Rather than cry or throw a fit, she handled it with class. Her day ended up being incredible and SO beautiful. I snagged these shots of her right before the ceremony started. I didn't have time to set up any fancy lighting, so I just let the mood of the room flow. I loved how calm she was despite having a chaotic and frustrating day up to that point. Thanks for inspiring us Morgan.

Back before the world came to an abrupt end due to the eclipse 🌓I had a great privilege of working with Juan and Brooke. They held a small ceremony with just family at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR and we explored around a bit afterward to get some fun photos. They are a very sweet and thoughtful couple - a true joy to work with!

I took 5 photos as it got darker, just to see how dark it really got. It's crazy how the human eye adjusts to low-light environments. I left the camera at the settings listed on the image. It got really dark!
