If you have a request, we're happy to try for it! Typically it takes quite a bit of time to get everything baby will touch the right temperature, position the sound machine just so, arranging baby into a perfect spot and try to keep baby calm with hopes that you can get a couple shots. Baby boy was an absolute angel and both of these ideas came together perfectly and in record time. A model is born.

There are very few people on the planet who LOVE to have their picture taken. The secret to posing is to learn how to UNpose. The pose is a great starting point but it isn't anywhere near the image we're trying to get. "Look at each other" isn't the shot but 5 seconds after you do look into each other's eyes, you smile. You forget about the pose and you're just, yourselves. There it is. You're far more natural in front of the camera than you might imagine and if you're feeling like you need a little help, we're here for it.

Packing up for a shoot today in Madison and just reminiscing on the last batch of photos we took when we were there visiting family. It's nearly impossible to have a photography company and not travel with your camera. It is equally difficult to not photograph your niece when she has a smile as sweet as this one. When family lives hours away but in the exact same area as a client and they ask if perhaps you'll come to them, it is always a resounding YES!

Family sessions are great in every stage of the year. With Daylight Savings Time having us fall back, we're now in Stage 2 of Fall for photographers. They're Packer fans, but nobody's perfect right? 😀 We've been lucky enough to call them friends for years, which is the only reason we know we can give them a little crap on social media. Truthfully they are an incredible family and every session we spend with them our mouths hurt from smiling and laughing with them so much.
