This a spotlight on Fern Acres in Forks WA. It is such a magical place to have a wedding. Lush forest trees and moss create a venue unlike any other. I was so lucky to have Camila and Brenden have me be a part of their wedding. They had a 'Ring Warming' part where the rings were passed from one guest to another, so they could give blessings and good thoughts to the couple. As you can see, it was a gorgeous wedding. Gracie Wilson's photography does justice to this magnificent venue.

What does an officiant at a wedding do?
A wedding officiant has an essential role on your big day—
performing your ceremony and ensuring that you and your partner are actually married.
That’s the technical stuff.
What we mostly do is-Make sure your ceremony is fun, memorable and crafted to who you, the couple, are. A really great ceremony can take up to 5 hours to create, not including the time needed to gather information about you two.
I can also attend your rehearsal to ensure things run smoothly on your big day.
One of my goals for you as a couple is to have as stress free and as happy a day as possible. Another goal is to have pictures to remind me of how much fun we had!

So...I went to Mt Baker and performed a lovely ceremony. The weather did not allow for the magnificent views, but it was so beautiful. The words I read were so special for this sweet couple.
I will work with you to design a ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple. Your ceremony will be personalized, romantic, and memorable, crafted just for you.
Whether your wedding is in a back yard or a mountain top, the words that are spoken are very important. I look forward to reading those words with you!

How about a stunning wedding in the Hoh Rainforest? Be it a small intimate gathering or a group of your loved ones, there is a beautiful spot for a ceremony here. Just south of Forks, WA (for you Twilight fans, you know where!) Your visit can include going to the amazing beaches-La Push or Ruby.
When making plans for your wedding here on the Olympic Peninsula, check for traffic details. Ferry schedules , holiday weekends (Lavender Festival) and Hood Canal Bridge closures. All of these things can make it difficult for guests to get out to your wonderful day. Make a plan, put it on your website or send the info.
Your guests will appreciate it!

Weddings are being booked! Elopement plans are being made!
It looks like Hurricane Ridge might be open this year.
