Found a box today. In it were past certificates of participation in numerous organizations from Atlanta, Washington DC, Baltimore and Detroit, achievement certificates from various local chapter boards & advisory boards that I sat on; thank you letters from two past Michigan Governors and a number of guest speaking engagements across the country; featured works of mine in national and local trend magazine as well as quoted for my opinions and advice on the wedding and events industry. Which brings me to this pic posted from Hour Magazine in Detroit. It was a wicked fun interview and the photographer truly got me out of my comfort zone in front of a camera. . . I have lived by advice that was given to me at a young age, “build your Comunity and you will build a great life both professionally and personally.” No truer and meaningful words have been spoken to me.

Check out the last minute, with only two days notice, Executive Dinner for 25 that Art of Motion Events produced. As if the short (2days) turn around wasn’t enough the set up times changed multiple times leaving us very little time to pull it together. Not a complaint! In this business you get used to obstacles. But this is what can happen when you are given challenges. The reward is this. Thanks Christie ❤️

The last nite’s event. Each of us putting in almost 25,000 steps a piece from setup to tear down. The client’s only request were low centerpieces. Here’s what we delivered. Vintage bottles, orchids, roses, lisianthus, anemones all vibrant coloring against a breathtaking backdrop with a huge fire pit, cocktails, plentiful eats & dueling pianos.
