⚠ To keep everyone in the loop regarding the current Public Health Orders...

Stone Mountain Lodge is actively pursuing a variance for our venue so we may return to events again as soon as possible. We are advocating for our business, but more importantly, our clients. We know this is a stressful time for all and we want you to know we are working hard to help you proceed with your wedding/events as planned.

We have been gathering information from current Colorado Public Health orders and trying to consolidate into a readable format, shared in the attached graphic. If it looks confusing to you, you’re not alone – the orders are inconsistent, and the guidance is very difficult at best. Any local variances approved by the state override the provisions in the graphic.

With little movement from the Governor’s office, we need everyone to get involved now to get local variances issued. We strongly encourage you to contact your county commissioners, county manager, and local public health authority to stress the importance of getting the special events industry safely back to work.

While we continue to press for statewide action, CEA will be building a resource page with current information about county variances, a template for requesting a variance from your local public health authority, and other items that we hope are useful. Until it’s posted, you can e-mail [email protected] for this template.

If you feel so inclined, we gratefully ask you to donate to the Colorado Event Alliance, so that we are able to award money to our frontline workers, who we are trying so hard to get back to work.
