What’s the most common thing I hear come Fall that makes me want to cry (because I can save you the stress and take it off your list NOW)? 😢🫣😿

“I had no idea we already had to book a photographer for senior pictures!”…and it’s mid-September...and I’m booked. And your back up photographer pick is booked. And your uncle with a “nice camera” is out of town until October 16th. Then, you secretly hate the awkward pictures he sends you with the sepia editing. So you snap an iPhone selfie because yearbook pictures are due Dec 1…🙀🙀 Or some variety of that 🤣🫠☠️

It’s usually coming from a Senior who is the first in their family (and usually a stressed out one) or a parent of a first time senior who had no clue pictures were supposed to be on their radar this early 🤷🏼‍♀️ I mean, when you are supposed to be planning your entire futures, why would something like senior pictures be at the top of your list. I get it.

So here I am 🦸🏼‍♀️, giving you all the info you need ✨💞✨

PS - your uncle will be upset his work didn’t get ~published~ for the first time 😢

This outfit goes down as one of my favorites ever!! Also, I usually veer hard left from all green backgrounds, but something about this outfit just had me doing the opposite. So glad I did because I'm obsessed. Thanks for having the world's greatest taste .gill 😍✨🥰

When brought up incoporating ice cream into her shoot I about died. It had been on my shoot bucket list for forever. THEN, she about made my heart explode when she added in her rollerskates. I can't believe its time to show some of my favorites from the year!! LIKE WHAT. First up was this dreamy sunset that made me forget I was at an Iowa lake. My favorite kind of session :) was one of my reps from DCG and I love love loved working with her! Can't wait to see what she does playing college soccer, she's such a hard worker and talented young lady 💕💪👏✨

Surprise, surprise…I ordered more pictures of my kids ☺️Specifically, their wrestling photos. But I still did fall victim to a good sale 😅

Speaking of…my print sale will run through the new year! So get on it my people 🥳😎 prints make the best gifts and I’m a firm believer in printing (at least) 20-50 of your favorites each year for safe keeping. You’ll be surprised how different it feels to hold onto an actual photo and reminisce. It’s a lost art and honestly the most therapeutic 🥰😍🫶🏼

She found me on social media and traveled from Waterloo for our session, how freaking cool is that?! It really all was meant to be. We got so lucky with glimpses of the sun on what we thought was going to be a totally overcast day. A 100% magical shoot ✨🔥🤩
