Just a reminder to join us tomorrow for another FAMILY NIGHT at Bellino where KIDS EAT FREE every Wednesday.

Kids (12 and under) can choose either Spaghetti with Homemade Meatballs or Spaghetti with Vegetarian Sauce. 2 kids per 1 adult paying entree, drinks not included. Dine-in only, please. Gluten-free spaghetti available upon request.

Parents, come have a glass of prosecco or wine and enjoy a night off from cooking! Round up your family and friends and make it a community night. The kids might learn scopa!

On this rainy day, homemade lasagne for the bambini at L'Etoile French Immersion School.

My mamma, Gilda's recipe: handmade pasta, ricotta, mozzarella di bufala, bolognese sauce with organic grass-fed ground beef and ground pork. The kiddos got it with a side of mixed greens with homemade balsamic vinaigrette and organic sliced Fuji apples.

Vegetarian and GF lasagne made, too.

It's been a busy week of lunches. We all got over the school closures, delays, and flooding our first week and have been getting our footing this second week.

This week the bambini at L'Etoile French Immersion School had:

Homemade gnocchi with pork ragu or pesto, sautéed shaved brussel sprouts, and mandarin orange

Chicken bone broth soup with rice, roasted carrots, homemade bread, and apple

Minestrone soup with rigatoni pasta, roasted carrots, homemade bread, and apple

Oven baked Wild Alaskan salmon with roasted sweet potatoes, sautéed broccoli raab, and orange

Pizza di Scarola (Rustic pizza with escarole, olives, pine nuts, & raisins), roasted sweet potatoes, sautéed broccoli raab, and orange

This is how we're spreading love today. Handmade tagliatelle with housemade meatballs, sautéed chard, and mandarin orange for the bambini at L'Etoile French Immersion School.

We did one GF handmade tagliatelle and one vegetarian with tomato basil sauce.

It's a family affair, so our 16 mo. old, Paolo and 3 yo niece, Hunter pitched in today.

We are proud to begin our healthy hot school lunch program at L'Etoile French Immersion School in Portland. Our lunches draw inspiration from the French public school lunch model, Alice Water's Edible Schoolyard, and the Conscious Kitchen in Marin Co. Our menu is local, organic, scratch-made daily, seasonally-driven, non-gmo and we will be delivering 3 days a week directly to the classroom.

Today's menu: Ribollita Soup (Tuscan bean soup with cannellini beans, kale, chard, collard greens, potatoes, topped with parmiggiano and olive oil), side of fresh baked bread, side of fresh mozzarella, side of sliced organic apples.
