All Is On Events and Design was originally founded in June of 2016. My family name is Allison, and that is how the company name was born. While growing up, my grandfather always used the phrase “ALL IS ON” to help us learn how to spell our last name as little kids, but also as a term of endearment throughout the family. If you were born an “Allison” you have heard the saying or the reference a million times. My grandfather passed from this earthly plane for some time now, but I know he would approve and be proud. Not to mention, I’m the first “Allison” on record to open a business in the state of Minnesota. In addition, I am a black woman, that fact alone is enough to keep me going on this journey of building an empire.
All Is On Events and Design is built on hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and heartache. Before opening the company, I planned a few birthday parties, corporate meetings, and a retirement party. Things worked out better than I expected. I wanted to make a name for myself and create something memorable. I sat down with my sisters who both hold the Allison name, and we planned our mother’s 60th birthday party. That party is what put the company’s name on the map. Her event is now known in the Allison family as an “Auntie Penny Party”. Little did I know I would become a huge success in the family. Word of mouth started, and requests and inquiries began to come in. I knew it was time to file my business and get my event and design empire rolling.
April 6th, 2022, All Is On LLC was registered and open for business. There were a lot of things that needed to be done. I had no clue what I was doing and really didn’t know where to start. I got online to look for startup grants. I filled out a few things and sent them in for review. Unfortunately, I was signing myself up to be listed on the government website for small business owners and not money. What a happy accident, now I’m certified in Saint Paul as of August 25th,2022, and Minneapolis as of October 12th, 2022, government procurement services as a Black and Women owned businesses.
All is On Events and Design is offering a peace of mind and professional event and design ex*****on. We specialize in custom party favors or gift baskets that are created in house for purchase. What’s unique about us is every event or party has custom pricing. There will be deals, promotional discounts, giveaways and much more. Our slogan is “The Best For Less” and that is what we intend to do. Making sure you as the customer have the very best of every aspect of the event without breaking the bank. All Is On Events & Design is building our business with a strong sense of family and giving back to the communities in the surrounding Twin City area. We pride ourselves on working with a diverse demographic.
Our current marketing strategy is working by word of mouth, social media, handing out business cards, and promotional flyers. We are asking everyone to like us on Facebook, Instagram and become our friend on Snapchat. We also encourage you to share our posts, discounts and promotional news.
