The Lock-Up Wrestling Academy is the longest running and most successful pro wrestling school in the New England and one of the most recognized schools across the country. The Lock Up Pro Wrestling Academy was established in 2005 by Spike Dudley, after Spike joined up with the previously established Top Rope Pro Training Center, which started in 1981. During the early years, when independent wrest

ling was not as accessible, TRP training center was one of the few schools in the area, alongside the Killer Kowalski School in Malden. Additionally, the school produced some of New England's finest independent wrestling talent such as Sweet Scott Ashworth, Brickhouse Baker, Nightmare Nick Steel and Powerful Pat Garrett. In 2005, Spike Dudley joined the school and established The Lock Up Wrestling Academy. Since its inception, The Lock Up has produced some of the best talent in the world. This includes International TV Superstars Mike Bennett, Biff Busick, Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan, Anthony Greene, and Alisha Edwards. Additionally, the Lock Up has birthed New England wrestling standouts such as Teddy Goodz, H2o Ryan Waters, Matt Magnum, Luscious Latasha, Nico Silva, Channing Thomas, Brett Ryan Gosselin, Little Mean Kathleen and a huge host of others! So what makes The Lock-Up Wrestling Academy stand out? We are firm believers that "Wrestling is for everyone, but its not for just anyone," meaning we have high standards for those who choose to train at The Lock-Up. We believe the standards are attainable for anybody who is willing to put in the hard work and extra efforts. Training is not merely learning how to fall. To master the art, one must understand the mental aspect of wrestling. Here at the Lock-up your instruction will be both mental and physical. With a vast library of wrestling videos at our disposal, studying the craft will be as important as learning the maneuvers. Our knowledge, experience and understanding of the mental side of wrestling allow students a chance for a complete wrestling education. Once trained, a student has far more opportunity to succeed at the Lock-up than most schools. Top Rope Promotions began 41 years ago and runs as many as 40 shows per year, in addition to providing ring rentals for other local events. This allows students direct and indirect access to getting booked for wrestling matches. A wrestler’s first few years are the most critical. Top Rope will allow students an atmosphere to grow, learn and develop to complete wrestlers.
