So for Valentine's Day, I wanted to try something new with my husband...this is not going where you might think! ;) I ordered a which came with everything we needed to make ice cream, a link to a video lesson, and a card called I Bet I Know You Better. My other half was skeptical but at the end of the night, he was totally onboard to make Datebox a regular thing.

Some Monday evening feels...

On February 9, 2019 I got the chance to be apart of something much larger and much more important than myself. I got to experience a wedding SO special and full of emotion that I had to take a day to just gather my thoughts to truly express how blessed I feel to have been apart of it. Jade reached out to me when they first found out her mother was sick to move her wedding date up and coincidentally I had that one day open in March! Unfortunately they found out that the situation was worse than foreseen. Her mother, Diane, was diagnosed with stage 4 Adenoma Carcinoma which started in her lungs and has spread to her liver and brain. With this news Jade wasted no time and put together the perfect little wedding right there in her mothers room at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. I've been to the big, the bad, and the beautiful weddings filled with jewels, drapes, and flowers but this by far will always be the one that I remember and hold dear to my heart. The wedding was filled with family, a beautiful bouquet, her mothers ring, lots of smiles, a few tears, and a surprise cake from the hospital. My career has led me to experience so many amazing things but I will always consider this one of the most precious moments of my life. I am so honored and humbled by them allowing me to do this for them in this setting. Thank you Jade, Jordan, and family for choosing me. I am a better person for knowing all of you!
