You guys! 🥹 May was completely booked solid and I only have ONE date left in June for someone to snag! THANK YOU for trusting Always Invited with all of your special life moments! 🥳
Similar to the last two summers, I will be taking the entire month of July off to enjoy some fun in the sun and take a summer vacation with my boys! This is also necessary for me to organize, restock, and recharge to continue to bring you all my best self and service! I will continue to take inquiries for future dates during this time, so keep them coming! Depending on my schedule, I may still be able to accommodate some grab-n-go garlands and/or chair/backdrop rentals but I will not be committing to full event setups and two weeks notice is required. Thank you for your support and understanding!🪩💕

Let’s talk about SHS PROM 2024 🪸🪼🫧
I was hired to handle the setup for Prom Premiere - some of you may otherwise know this as the “grand march” before the students head off to dinner and dance. Usually, this is held indoors. This year, prom premiere was being held outside on the track. As luck would have it, the 25+mph wind gusts would not let me be great and everything was falling over. Cue full blown panic attack and tears😭 A few phone calls were made and it was ultimately decided to do the setup inside. The design pictured in the gym was what was supposed to be outside as the students walked across the stage with their dates. As bad as I wanted the world to see my hard work behind everyone all dolled up on such a special night, and as heartbroken and disappointed I was, I ultimately decided it just wasn’t worth compromising the safety of anyone, let alone my reputation! So inside I went. And I just had to stand back and accept that even though things didn’t go as planned, this was by far one of the biggest and best setups I had done solo to date 🥹🙌🏼
I was also hired to handle the grand entrance at Prom itself. And let me tell you - the 60+ clear, iridescent filled bubble balloons and 8’ “underwater” tunnel was a true work of art that took 3 nights after work to construct 😮💨 I can’t even count the number of times I thought to myself, “how in the world am I gonna get all of this done?” 😬 But somehow, all of that, along with an 8’x8’ balloon wall got done and I am not afraid to say that I am so dang proud of myself for conquering this weekend! 🥳 I so appreciate all of your kind words on my first prom post. I spent nearly every night last week away from my family to make sure this looked great, so hearing the praise makes it all the more worth it 🥹

The YWCA is committed to making the Sauk Valley a better place for everyone by providing advocacy and counseling services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, economic advancement services for women and girls, and support to marginalized individuals and families. As a social worker at heart - I’m all about it 🙌🏼🧡✨
