🤍 Because of the positive response from the family to the story I made yesterday, I'm moving it to my page, so it can always remain.

There's so much that could be said about this whole situation, but what I want to do is honor Amelia & the legacy she leaves behind for us to strive for.
I have SO many photos of Amelia that I could share (I am so blessed to be able to watch so many dancers grow over the years through the view of my lens & I feel so blessed by that 🥹). So, so many of these photos are of her immense, God-given talent. But...it's this one that stood out to me when looking through photos of her senior solo. I feel like in this moment she was catching a glimpse of the full revelation of what she has now.

May we all strive to follow in her footsteps of full devotion to Christ.
..And we move onto the next photo. The last [usable] photo I took of her in December. How divinely ironic that it was the Heaven scene. 😌

As her friends and family will continue to share the wonderful legacy of Amelia, I can confidently say that Amelia would echo the lyrics of a popular Casting Crowns song, "Jesus is the only Name to remember". Let us remember at the end of each day, no matter what happens, the knowledge and full devotion to Christ is all that matters. He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE (John 14:6).

I am confident that Amelia heard the most precious set of words we all long to hear from our Lord: "Well done, good & faithful servant."

Amelia, see you soon, sis. 🤍

I'm struggling with what to say at this moment, but what I do know is that there are so many people right now that I just can't stop thinking about wrapping my arms around and crying with them.
Things happen and life doesn't make sense. We scream "WHY GOD?", but in darkness, let's not forget everything we believed in the light.
CLING TO JESUS with everything you have. Remember His faithfulness. Know He is near and His arms are tightly, securely wrapped around you and THAT is a promise.

Most importantly, as hard as it is to remember this in these moments, let's not forget, when we remain in Christ, a GLORIOUS reunion is coming soon. In a twinkling of an eye, it will be here. This life is temporary and short. Experience TRUE life before this era is over & we will get to wrap our arms tightly around those who've gone before us...and mostly importantly to be in HIS GLORIOUS presence.

Oh, what a day it will be.

This wasn't just another photo session for me. God brought my family a precious little gift this Christmas and boy is she adorable 🥰.

My sister, Kendra, birthed the most precious little girl recently, Liliana. It's truly a gift to see her and Erick already doing so well as parents & getting to capture this special moment.

It feels weird that I'm an aunt, but definitely a good weird! Can't wait to watch her grow up (& capture her throughout her life!). I pray God's many blessings and protection over this sweet little girl & her parents 🤍.
