For two girls who primarily wear black at events we sure did rock the sparkle… with a little bit of black thrown in there because I am who I am. 💕😂 ⁣

If you’re new around these parts, allow me to introduce ourselves!⁣

I’m Ash, the owner and Lead Planner here at Delight Events! I handle all the business logistics and play the part of creative director and designer. ⁣
⁣
I’m a STL transplant (moved to Mid-MO when I was 13) turned CoMo girl and I made my way into event planning at an early age... I was the go-to girl for birthdays, school dances, church events, you name it, I was the party girl!⁣ In fact, just a couple of weeks ago, my Facebook Memories reminded me that the VERY first wedding I coordinated was 14 years ago! CRAZY!⁣

The cool girl next to me is my right hand and other half, Monica! She is our communication coordinator for all things timelines and 60-days in for clients, plus she is an associate planner, leading her own weddings. ⁣
⁣
She came to Mid-Mo via Wichita, KS where she previously worked for a planner, managed hair salons, did a stint at a vet, and even worked in a school before having her triplets. Yes, she really is superwoman! No way Delight would survive without this powerhouse!!! ⁣
⁣
After every single event, I go home and feel immensely grateful that I didn’t get the event over the finish line alone. I am so acutely aware that working on a team is far greater than working alone and it gives me such great pride to know that our team feels the same. ⁣

The thread that is woven through our team is that we are equal parts hard working and super fun and quite honestly, it starts with us! We love working together for our clients and can’t wait for all the fun that the rest of our fall season is bringing! 💕💕💕⁣

We recently were able to have Brad from New Eden Studios follow us around on a wedding day to capture the behind the scenes of what we do to make a day fun and stress free.
