In the event industry it’s very common for there to be LOTS of changes and adjustments as the final day gets closer. At Event Options we’re here to help you through those challenges with your event rentals!
Here are 3 ways to deal with these changes:
1️⃣ Be sure that before renting, reserving, or purchasing any event items that you and the client have seen the venue. So many options seem great on paper but in person either you or your client realize it won’t work.
2️⃣ Ask all vendors well in advance what there policy is for changing an order. Many companies will require a deposit ahead of time. Be sure you fully understand this before paying.
3️⃣ Put your clients wishes in writing and keep a running Google Doc that you and the client both can view but only you can edit. This ensures that they always understand what the agreement is and that all expectations will be met.

1. 10X your event planning business by routinely asking your clients why they chose you and applying their answers to your marketing materials.
2. Come up with metric that will help prove that your events are a success and use those also in marketing.
- For example, my events on average lead to an ROI for my client of 150%
3. Don’t ever let an event end without having passed out at least 20 feedback cards to event attendees to get honest answers and potentially more marketing material. Ask the presenters, guests, and hosts.
