Ode to Merika, thou art a beacon of light,
In this grand theatre of life, thou standst so bright,
In Mother's Day we honor, thy toil unseen,
Caring for Cava, Zatinya, and Jaleo, thy noble queen.
In morning's hush or midnight's lull, thy patience ne’er does falter,
Thy gentle touch, a soothing balm, at the heart's tumultuous alter.
With grace and love, thou steerest the ark, through tempest, calm and storm,
In thee, the haven for thy brood, in thy embrace, they form.
Cava, thine eldest, wise and bright, in her mother's image cast,
In thine eyes, a twinkle, a mirror to the past.
Thy patience and thy wisdom, in him we see imbued,
Through thy tender guiding hand, his spirit was renewed.
Zatinya, the middle child, of fiery heart and will,
With dreams as high as mountain peaks, and valleys to fulfill.
In her, thy strength and courage, a roaring flame does glow,
Her resilience and her fortitude, to thy tutelage they owe.
Jaleo, the youngest, his laughter pure and free,
A sprightly sprite, with sparkling eyes, who bounds with youthful glee.
In him, thy love and joy reflect, in his heart's merry echo,
His zest for life, his boundless love, from thee, they surely flow.
Thou art the sun, thy children, the planets in their turn,
Around thee, they find their path, from thee, their lessons learn.
Thy love, a constant guide, in their lives' uncharted sea,
Thou art their North Star, Merika, in thy love, they're ever free.
Today we celebrate thee, on this hallowed Mother's Day,
For all thy love, thy sacrifice, words can but barely convey.
Merika, thou art a marvel, a beacon in the night,
In thy children's hearts forever, thou art their endless light.
