Tsalagi (Cherokee) tradition is known as a Kutani Uku (holy man or priest is a spiritual healer, teacher
and visionary).
Dear Friends,
With a heartfelt plea, I reach out to share the story of Standing Bear, a cherished teacher of the Tsalagi people, known to many as Cherokee. Standing Bear has returned to the Arizona region to continue his sacred teachings, offering profound wisdom that bridges generations and connects us to the rhythms of the Earth.
Unfortunately, he was unable to retrieve his sacred items left in Europe—his drums, rattles, skins, crystals, blankets, and plant medicine—essential tools for his teachings and ceremonies. These items, imbued with generations of spiritual energy, hold a vital place in his work.
While I have gathered the plant medicine and herbs he needs, Standing Bear still requires help rebuilding his collection to fully resume his sacred practices. I humbly ask for your support through donations or gifts that will help him acquire the tools necessary to share his wisdom and keep these invaluable traditions alive.
Standing Bear will be holding a special Winter Solstice teaching and gathering on December 21. This is an opportunity for all of us to come together in unity and gratitude for his guidance and teachings.
