Students dived into comfort food. Seared pork chops w/apple chutney, and Mac & cheese from scratch. Students shopped, and budget all menus requested.

Students did a great job, the kitchen and school filtered the school with the most fragrant aroma .

BLOCK 37 (Fall edition)

Students took a break from the kitchen to enjoy the season. A first time visit for the group lead us to Faulkners Ranch. Students received VIP treatment from the owner Mr Bob Faulkner and staff. Students sampled staple seasonal items such as pumpkin donuts, kettle corn, apple cider, raw honey. Toured the ranch from the stable (seeing some of the animals in person brought perspective to meals they prepared), saw pumpkins in their natural habitat, learned how many hands help to maintain the property, and some hidden tips the team uses to help with their job performance from tractor tips on.

Students enjoyed all the festivities: hay ride, corn maze, trampoline, slide, tractor 4 wheel races, corn dive.

Lastly lunch was provided pulled pork sandwiches, chicken tenders, pulled pork nachos, hot dog meal.

Students had the pleasure of hosting a guest Chef Belinda Reeves, Florence, SC.

The request to cook; loaded baked potatoes, and brown sugar wings. Students loved the experience, they requested drummettes. Students shopped, and followed the instructions well. Chef Reeves is the owner of a beautiful bed and breakfast “ Jacqueline Estates”. She shared her love for the art of cooking, great memories growing up and her newest business venture.

Students had the opportunity to share some of their creations with staff and one another while receiving positive feedback. Thank you Chef Reeves for your time and talent!

Week #8 Block 37 FALL EDITION As we conclude the final week of Block 37 with students @ De La Salle . It was only fitting the finale end with a fine dining experience. Service in a fine dining restaurant is more attentive and formal than your average full-service restaurant, with a slower pace and a more sophisticated ambiance. Leading up to this day students learned proper table etiquette, we discussed navigating through meal courses. Our outing lead us to Grand Street Cafe (Plaza). We were hosted by managing partner & Executive Chef . The journey began with a tour of the restaurant from front to back onto the private dining rooms. Students ordered entrees from a custom menu. Appetizers were welcomed: deviled eggs, mushroom egg rolls, tuna tartare . The assignment was to select something familiar but more so something new. (Our on going rule since day 1 try it before you formulate what you don’t like) Students were able to engage in reflective conversation recapping favorite moments during the culinary program. Conversation included our most attentive servers, and student Chef asking the importance of family and traditions, personal stories love for food. After catering and planning events for my friends, church and kid's extra-curricular activities, I decided to follow my passion that centered around food, fun and family.

Concierge is a full service catering, weddings & event planning and event decor company. From a party of one to an event for one thousand, we offer delicious menu options, surrounded by custom-made beautifully designed décor with a contemporary style of service.

Our approach is simple... we get to know our customer, we design their unforgettable event, we deliver superior customer service from start to finish, and we respect their budget.​
