618 EVENTS is an event planning company serving Champaign, IL, and surrounding areas. We specialize in coordinating weddings, corporate & non-profit events, and social gatherings. 618 EVENTS exists to make the planning process and your event day feel more like a party and less like a chore.

I’m Maggie, and I am the proud owner of 618 EVENTS!

Why the name? Pronounced “Six One Eight”. Numbers meaning the first three digits of Champaign-Urbana and surrounding area’s zip codes, and my wedding anniversary on June 18. I am married to an amazing man who encouraged me to leave my doubts and fears behind, and start my own company. He has been such an integral part of 618 EVENTS!

Before 618 EVENTS, I worked for an event planning company based in Peoria, IL, and completely fell in love with event planning. People, spreadsheets, and details...what’s not to love?! However, my marriage brought me to Champaign, IL, and I realized working and living in two different cities didn’t make sense. Hence, the birth of 618 EVENTS.
