JACKYL UPDATE:

Starting Monday both 103.9 XROCK, and 103.9 The Bear will be advertising the show. They will be doing ticket giveaways during the week, so stay tuned for your chance to win tickets.

Thursday July 11th, 103.9 The bear will be broadcasting live from The Bottle Shop Two Located at 1212 Lincolnway here in La Porte from 5 pm-7 pm.

Jesse James Dupree with be arriving there at approximately 6 pm to do a bottle signing with his brand of Jesse James Bourbon, Spiced Whiskey and Honey Whiskey.

Get a sample shot; win a couple of Jackyl tickets for the concert immediately following the bottle signing. We will also have tickets there at that time for purchase, as well as the Civic at the door!

We are in the process of setting up the first of an annual concert to raise money for the worthy women's recovery home. This is a good cause for our community. This will be a non-profit concert. The money is badly needed. We will need the support of our local bands and our community as a whole. We are asking all bands and our citizens to jump om board and make this an event that can help this organization get through another year. We all love our live music, let's take this chance to have a great concert on a yearly basis and raise money for a place that matters in our town. PS. We will have a national band headline of course with our local guy bringing all to life.

Want to clear up some confusion. Many seem to think that the Jackyl concert is being held at Tely's. We want to make it clear, the Jackyl concert has nothing to do with Tely's. This show is not in any way remotely involved with Tely's.

L&C Music is a totally separate company setting up live music and in no way shape or fashion is involved with Tely's. We have simply taken this show to the Civic Center because Tely's did not want involved with the show.

Lasting this is not a bashing post against Tely's either. Businesses make decisions for different reasons, they chose to drop this show so we took it over to keep it in La Porte.

We will be doing a killer outside show at The Clubhouse in Michigan City, IN. This is going to be an amazing show. Odd lineup for some but a little something for everyone. Alcohol and killer food served. This is an awesome outside setup that you will love. Don't want to miss this. Lineup at this point is Highnoon, Eliminator, one the best ever ZZ Top tribute bands and the Midwest's very own Midwest Hype. Let's not stop here though we have one more but we can't release the name until the contract is complete. We know there are bands everywhere this time of year but this outdoor show is one you won't want to miss out on. The food and drinks alone will get you going. Mark your calendars off for August 9, 2013 at The Clubhouse. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow after we complete the contract with the last band.

This show is under a completely different management company. We are putting on a show you will never forget. Ample security will be provided. We will be serving food,soft drinks and alcoholic beverage as well.
