We were so thrilled to have DJ Jake join us on our wedding day! He was so helpful in finding all of our favorites songs, even hunting down some Croatian Klapa songs! Many couples are looking for a "DJ", but they commonly overlook the "MC" duties that are required as well. A professional wedding DJ must have both qualities in order to have the most successful outcomes at weddings. In the past few years I have seen and performed some really cool entertainment trends being introduced at weddings. Everything from reverse anniversary dances, to dinner games. One in particular that has been very fun is the "table-dash-photo game". It's quick, entertaining, and can give couples some excellent table shots of their guests. Rachel Lahlum from Rachel Lahlum Photography has a great piece about how this game should work. Check out her article and YES, we have done this many times before, so we have the experience!

250+ year old tree! This tree is massive, but you can't tell from the photo. It was a gift from Lafayette to George Washington and it still stands today at GW's Mount Vernon Estate (River Farm is part of it). I was 20 yards from it yesterday entertaining a wedding.

Jake was amazing!

Can’t recommend Dream Day DJs enough! Jake was an AMAZING MC and DJ!! We truly couldn’t have done it without him. I really appreciated all his effort from making my bridal entrance as I wanted (he had to cut and blend so it played exactly how I wanted it), the song selections and his amazing energy. I heard back from so many guests how great Jake was too. Some of my more tech savvy friends also commented on how he had great sound systems as well. It was a little windy at our ceremony but the audio was still crystal clear.
