After that, we go up to $75 per hour. All jobs are a minimum of 4 hours (not including travel/setup). Potential for overtime and possible tips as well.

A lawn activity at this wedding featured the game Connect Four, but with a twist. The couple's 2 dogs had their faces superimposed on each color. Another cool wedding idea that incorporates the bride and groom's vision and personality.

Jake was the DJ for my sister’s wedding and received raved reviews, so I immediately knew that we wanted him to DJ our wedding. Jake has a comprehensive worksheet that helped us plan the music for every part of the day. He also met with us before the big day to go through everything and make sure that we were on the same page. The end result was perfect! From the cocktail hour, to the introductions and first dance, to the last song of the night, the music was exactly what we envisioned. Jake has an enormous catalogue of music that kept everyone of all ages on the dance floor all night long. We would highly recommend Dream Day DJs!

On May 6th, 2023, I received a call that a small wedding had lost their DJ. In the professional DJ community, we support each other as much as possible. So, we personally stepped in to assist and provided emergency service for a couple. We had about 3 weeks total to prepare from the ground up , but we delivered their vision exactly the way they wanted it. Here are the comments from the couple from that day:

This article touches on some upcoming 2023 trends, but here is a short list of what's been trending from my experiences this past year:

~ NO CAKE ATTENTION. Couples have been opting out of the traditional cake cutting. Once dancing opens, couples silently move over and cut the cake with their photographer without all the guests gathering around and the DJ announcing it.

~ COUPLES PRIVATE DANCE. After the last song is played and people are moved outside at the end of the wedding, the couple has the DJ play one more song for them to dance to by themselves.

~ HASHTAGS. Couples put out picture frames with QR Codes or hashtags for guests to upload photos and videos they take at their wedding. This is a great way to capture candid photos and have them sent to a virtual photo album.

~ PHOTO BOOTHS INCLUDING THE 360. I have sold more Photo Booths in 2022 than any other year. We will also be adding a 360 photo booth by popular demand. Guests would stand on a platform that rotates 360 degrees while a camera captures the video moment.

From colorful decorations to touches like disposable cameras, here are the ceremony and bridal trends we can expect to see next year.
