Stephanie and Shaun's elegant wedding ceremony was everything we dreamed it would be! Dawn responded to every phone call and email immediately and continuously put us at ease throughout the planning process. She worked with all of my vendors and always seemed to be two steps ahead of me, which I can't tell you how much I appreciated! She was able to juggle all of the vendors and family personalities wonderfully. Jordan was even on puppy duty and took our dog to doggie day care after the ceremony! One of my favorite parts of coordinating a tent wedding is seeing the couple's reaction upon entering the reception space. Working in a tent is unique in that you are able to take a blank canvas and make it anything you can imagine! As we prepare for Kelly & Scott's tent wedding next weekend, I am reminiscing about one of my favorite tent weddings -Jackie had such an amazing reaction when seeing her vision brought to life! ♥️

Buffalo Bridal Association is pleased to announce the finalists for our photo contest for the cover of the Buffalo Bridal Expo 2017 program book. All photographers who are association members were invited to submit photos for consideration, from which we have chosen four finalists.

It's now up to you to select which photo will be featured on the cover of this year's program! Voting will enter you to win a VIP ticket to the Buffalo Bridal Expo!!!

Vote by liking your favorite photo(s). Each like under an individual photo (rather than the album as a whole) will serve as a vote for that photo.

Voting will enter you in our drawing to win one of 5 VIP tickets to the Buffalo Bridal Expo on February 19th at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino.

Voting will end Wednesday, February 1st. The following day, we will announce the winning photographer, and the 5 VIP ticket winners.

This was literally the most exciting thing I ever did on New Year's Eve even though I spent it under a table operating the confetti cannon. It was so gratifying to see the amazing confetti white out effect we produced. Anyone have any fun plans to ring in 2017?

Brides and Grooms - you really need to check out this great local consignment shop for your DIY wedding and party needs - Party On ! I recently visited - the shop is beautifully organized and clean and has lots of great centerpiece items, favors, dresses and more. Don't pay retail prices before checking it out!!

Wedding planning tip...It's so important to make a good first impression on your guests! Couples often spend so much time and money focusing on the small details that they forget big picture items, such as guest comfort. At a recent outdoor wedding we attended at a private home, the ceremony location was not visible from the parking area. Confused guests were wandering around (in heels through the mud!) wondering where to go. It's a good idea to designate someone to greet and direct guests. An experienced wedding coordinator will make sure this is covered, but a friend or family member works fine too!

Fun ideas for your wedding! Our fave is the confetti - we did confetti sticks at an outdoor wedding as the bride & groom kissed and walked back up the aisle together. One of our most distinct memories...it made for a great photo!
