I think baby showers have become one of my favorite events to host. Something about celebrating not just mama-to-be, but two people who are so connected makes my eyes leak happy tears.
Ya’ll know me, I work with what I have…so all the table settings and decorations are things I’ve collected and hoarded from my wedding and thrifty adventures! It’s vintage, can you blame me?! 😜 AND of course I had to throw some High School Musical inspo in there for her..it’s just fitting! 🎵

Thank you, to all of our lovely HGS Music staff ladies -past and present- who came to love on or sending your love from afar. •What’s your favorite detail? ⚜️ Obviously I’m obsessed with the green wall, but I surprised myself with the entry way/bench wall because I designed that all in my head and was so happy that it looked exactly as I imagined it! 😩😍

•What’s your favorite part of the room? 🌾
•My favorite is the tv console table that I thrifted for $20 (just did some touching up with wood stain to hide imperfections AND of course the vintage frames with photos that someone captured in 1958 at White Sands Beach in New Mexico! How could someone part with that?! It’s so unique and the handwritten messages on the back made it even more special for only 6 doll hairs 💰 total!! The joy of thrifting makes home decorating all the more fun!

Here are some of the items that sold in Thursday night’s auction on TikTok Live. I have never felt so overwhelmed with love and kindness from afar like I did that night. People I have never met -never spoken to- and so many of my new, virtual friends were POURING love in my family’s direction to raise funds for an unexpected funeral.
You all bid and donated HUNDREDS of dollars and I can only hope that we will be a huge blessing to Hunter’s family who is hurting right now. I cannot wait to tell them that it was because of YOU.
Thank you SO MUCH. I wasn’t able to post this sooner because I have been blown away and taking in all the emotions for what I experienced that night. I had no idea what this journey on TikTok would bring me....but I’m MOST GRATEFUL for the abundance of kindness you all have given me and even to EACH OTHER. It was simply amazing to see you all purchasing items for strangers who were wanting an item but had to drop out of the bids. The paying-it-forward that you all did that night in honor of Hunter gave me so much hope in humanity and for that - I am eternally grateful. 🖤
Hi, I’m Jenni 🤍 Today, I’m 30. Yesterday, I was thrilled to enjoy the beautiful, spring weather while I await the “second winter” that I’m sure is bound to hit us in this wonderful, Midwestern state of mine. 😂 (NWI, remember when it snowed in May that year?💀)
I’m what I like to call a “positive pessimist”. I can see the BEAUTY around me and envision creativity in any situation I’m in......but I like to prepare for the absolute worst. 🤭That way if it happens, I’m not so let down and I can move on with hope that things will only get better.
So...even tho I hate hate hate the cold, gloomy, rainy, winter-y days that lie ahead - I’m super excited that I get to wear my “new” vintage coat that I scored at the antique mall a few more times....cuz it makes me happy! 😍 I’m speaking nothing but good things and success into the universe for myself in my 30’s - no matter what comes my way to knock me down! 🐧

Now that Melissa Marshall got her gift, I would like to share! This sweet family lost their trusty pup in 2020 and I could tell he meant SO much to them! I really wanted to do something special, since I can only imagine what it’s like to lose a family pet.
Her young daughter, Riley, drew a picture of Megatron on a zoom call and mom shared it to her IG stories. I secretly screenshot the image after picking up Megatron’s leash and collar to make another piece for them, I knew somehow I had to create something from Riley’s sweet picture! I was working on what my husband nicknamed “Scribble Dog” for a couple weeks. He cheered me on and constantly asked me if Scribble Dog was done yet because he wanted to see the finished product! 🥺😆
This is what I came up with. Now Riley can keep her buddy, Mega, with her forever! 🐶 I just saw her holding her little canvas in their IG stories and it warmed my little heart!

⚜️This will probably be the most whimsical of the rooms, but it’s okay cuz it’s mine. I’ll share all my TikToks with my cover of Alice’s song from the movie and all the tiny details in my stories/highlights under “alice”.
⚜️Thank you for being interactive and helping me choose the rugs with a touch of color! I wanted most of the room to be white since the green wall is so dramatic. For those who voted for the fur rugs -it was SO tough- but I added some faux fur to the bedding to represent the white rabbit instead!
⚜️I’m happy with it and I’m happy IN it...and I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty proud of myself for teaching me to embroider overnight. 🙈😂

Here’s kinda what she looks like now, but after going LIVE on TikTok last night and bringing in my new vintage hutch (that I bought together with a vanity desk on FB marketplace for $75!!!!) I’m getting a little side-tracked!

Not only did I score some amazing pampas grass 🌾 on the side of the road the other day... but I saw this bunch at a thrift store for $3. It started out as a really ugly, beaten up, who-knows-what 😬 but I saw her potential. All it takes is a little TLC and thinking outside the box to completely change things up! I’ve always loved this stuff in nature and have been trying to get my hands on some for my home and people are paying BIG BUCKS!! Two days ago I almost paid $48 plus shipping for 5 pieces. FIVE. Then I thought, JENNI, YOU KNOW BETTER! 😂 Who said having a stylish home has to be expensive? Get outside and look around ya. ✨

After talking to Jasmin and learning that they needed a place to put all their belongings as soon as they walked thru the door, I decided what to do for her entryway. (See my previous post) We didn’t have much time to go shopping for supplies and she wanted everything to be really budget friendly! 💰🙌🏼
I took the hooks off of these wooden boards that were in my own entry way of my home and made them into something completely new! She wanted little touches of boho throughout, so adding textures and yarns are just a go-to. (Short video of the process in my “diys” stories on Instagram!)
When I first visited Jasmin, I asked her what her FAVORITE part of the living room was...her eyes immediately lit up and she said “my clock!” I could tell it was really important for that to be the first thing she saw when she walked in. So, I moved her furniture around, moved the TV to a wall that would have no glare from the windows (her bf LOVED this idea) and made a faux shiplap wall to make her clock pop. Bringing the clock down a little closer to eye level helped too! She didn’t want to do any major painting or renovations but I knew brightening up that wall would make a huge difference, so I Sharpie Shiplaped my heart out. 🙊 The best part, it costed $35 (for paint and a sharpie) and a little patience! And her new yarn hangings were all done with supplies I had in my office and costed me an episode of my current Netflix binge! CHA-CHING✨
