Keirsten and Anthony envisioned romantic, timeless, and elegant invitations for their wedding at The Inn at Fox Briar Farm. They wanted a classic suite with a personalized touch—custom envelopes that reflected their venue’s charm.

To bring their vision to life, we searched the public domain for artwork that felt just right for their wedding day, landing on a beautiful, historic piece that tied everything together. Then, we explored my envelope collection and found the perfect soft hue to complement their suite.

OK - this design hasn't even been listed in the shop yet - NEXT WEEK! But I just couldn't help but post it. It's a dreary gray day here and I just can't stop thinking about a warm, Almalfi coast wedding right now. That yellow envelope there is one of my new favorite colors of the season as well - sorbet yellow. Who wouldn't love that in the mail??

Anyway - this lovely design will be up in the digital template late next week!

9–12 months out: Start exploring styles and order samples to find your perfect match.
5+ months out: Begin your design process—it’s time to bring your vision to life.
4.5 months out: Finalize those details and order your complimentary printed proof to ensure every detail is perfect.
4 months out: Approve your suite and send it to print!

Avoid common wedding invitation mistakes with these quick tips!

Red flags to watch out for:
Skipping proofreading (always double-check your details!) I do have a proofreader on staff (Hey Erin!!!!!) and she is fabulous. She fact checks venue information, fixes up our grammar and overall is a second set of eyes, BUT you know your details best, so make sure you double check as well!

Be mindful RSVP deadlines - RSVP dates aren't made on a whim. Check your contracts to make sure you know when all of your vendors need a solid head count. Most are 7-14 days out, but I've seen a few cases where it's been more than that.

Skipping a printed proof. I always advocate for ordering a printed proof - they're complimentary!! If you have time, I want to get one in your hands before we go to print. We can order just a small set, so that when we are ready for your full order we KNOW you'll love all of the colors - and if you don't love the proof? That's a great time to change that envelope from Azure Blue to Cool Blue.

I always help my clients avoid these pitfalls with thorough reviews and expert guidance. Your invitations should be as stress-free as they are beautiful!

We take pride in working with expert print shops for perfect results, and each step is a labor of love, designed with your story in mind.

Locally, I've got Kristin on my team as my customer care support and she is awesome. She inspects every order for flaws before it goes out the door and makes sure it's packaged safely for you.
