Floral preservation requires different techniques for each flower. Deconstructing blooms helps maintain their color and overall shape.
Thicker flowers need to be thinned out or split in half before going into the press. It takes time but the results are absolutely worth it.

Checking flower presses and changing out paper daily is a must. There is a lot of time spent doing this. It’s always exciting to see how flowers change during the preservation process.

I loved creating this couple’s wedding flowers as well as being able to press and frame a special keepsake for them.
These rich colors and flowers were fun to work with. A mix of anemones, mums, thistle roses, spray roses, scabiosa, ferns and other unique blooms.
