This couple loved all of their wedding flowers so much they decided to preserve them last minute. I’m so excited to press these incredible blooms. It’s literally a rainbow of flowers and been exciting to deconstruct the arrangements.

The floral purses are so much fun! These amazing florals were designed by floralsbyoakridge and a big shout out to Oak Ridge Estate for sending this amazing couple my way.

Early mornings or late evenings are spent checking flower presses. You have to change out damp paper for dry paper regularly to avoid any damage or mold.

With the wedding season being in full swing the presses are full!

This was my first time pressing poppies. A pressed bridal bouquet in a custom soldered frame featuring beautiful anemones, poppies, astilbe, peonies, ranunculus, yarrow, ruscus and hellebore.

Pressed peonies. So many layers of beautiful petals to deconstruct, press and to put back together. They are very easy to preserve, they just take a lot of time to process.

Pressed bouquet the before and after. So many beautiful colorful booms for this fun summer shabby-chic wedding at Ru’s Farm in Healdsburg CA.

From wedding flowers to floral preservation. I had the opportunity to not only create this couple’s wedding flowers but also pressing and framing them.
I’m so grateful for my clients and I love that they can enjoy their flowers for a lifetime.

Pressed dried orchids. I am so pleased with how they turned out, they almost look like they are freshly cut.

Orchids are a bit difficult to preserve compared to other blooms. They hold a lot of moisture and once dried usually have a drastic change in color.

Orchids also turn kind of translucent once dried. So a bit of color correction makes a big difference.

It’s amazing to see a bouquet take on a second life. Look at those peonies! This beautiful bouquet was preserved and framed in a 12x16 solid oak wood frame.

Press a bouquet with me. Yes those are tomatoes cascading out! A first time pressing those for me. So many incredible locally grown flowers in this bridal bouquet.

This incredible bouquet was designed by Flower Porch Front Porch Farm for a wedding in Healdsburg.

I can’t wait to see the transformation into a custom floral frame.
