Alright, it's been a long, hectic and interesting year. As many of you know, we closed our commercial kitchen and ice cream shop, but I'm picking up where we left off, rebuilding a catering business, and most importantly, working on PNL! Performance, Nutrition, Lifestyle, a program of nutrition consulting, meal planning, and pre-made meal services is in the works, and more information will be available on that very soon.

Let your friends and neighbors know, Chef Rosander is back in his kitchen and there's a lot of tender, tasty morsels in the proverbial pot!

'Sup, Berea? What's your weekend like? Going to the BHS All-Class Reunion? Good. You should.

And the following morning, get back down to the Triangle! Why?

MUSIC AND FOOOOOD!

That's right, it's the 5th Annual Berea Music Fest and the ALL-NEW Bite of Berea, a collection of sounds and savory flavors to get Berea past that Polish Village hangover and back into the mood!

We've got killer music all day long:

You need to eat something delicious with all that lovely noise, so Rob over at Ah'Roma has worked on a lineup of fantastic food provisioners and sponsors, including:

And of course, since it's right on the Triangle, Rosander will be repping our kitchen and our cabinet, serving cold lemonade, scoops, some very delicious (and NEW) gourmet sundaes, all the sugar treats, and Chef Rosander himself outside with a big ol' PIG ROAST and hanger steak sandwich table going on!

That's right, some kick-ass, smoked pork flavor, the hanger steaks (and cafe de paris butter sauce, yup) you haven't seen since the Arts' Fest, and a ton of other delicious tables and plates and wrappers and cups and cones and whatever else the hard-working denizens of downtown, uptown, and anytown Berea can bring you!

Time to release the ol' Last Tango in Tremont menu:

Course 1 - Chilled pea bisque with crab and morels

Course 2 - Aligot redux: purple majesty and white potatoes with Laguiole and cave-aged Rogue Bleu cheeses, Toulouse sausage

Course 3 - Chicken thyme mousseline with tomato tarte tatin

Course 4 - Slivered pork belly over brandy clafoutis

Course 5 - Ginger fruit tartare over rosemary cream catalana and rosemary-chocolate ganache

I'll post up Paulius' pairings in a couple of days. If you missed this event (tix are gooone), who knows? Maybe we'll do a sequel. The VERY Last Tango in Tremont. Or wherever. :)

Sold out.

When I was a kid, those words were something we, in our intemperate youth, accused bands of doing, individuals of doing, as though somehow, selling every ticket you could was this horrific sin against your audience.

I'm happy to say the words, "we sold out", because my culinary loves, The Last Tango in Tremont is SOLD OUT.

Love me some Cleveland eaters.

For those that might not have caught wind, Rosander is now operating as a fully-fledged Ice Cream Parlour and Sweet Shoppe! You can find the new page by searching for Rosander Ice Cream here on Facebook!

We're getting ready to unveil a TON of spring treats, including (but not limited to!):

Chili dogs! - We'll be making our very own delicious beef and turkey sausages right in the kitchen, and offering a Chicago-style menu of a feast of toppings!

Custom waffle cones - Cinnamon and sugar, chocolate-dipped, caramel corn dusted! Just a few of the flavors you'll see waiting to be filled with delicious ice cream! (regular cones and waffle cones for bowls available)

Caramel apples - We had a false start on these, but with the weather on the verge of heating up, so is our caramel! Plain, with nuts, sprinkles, whatever! We got it!

Roasted peanuts - It's not enough to just roast off some peanuts here at Rosander. No sir, we have to curry our peanuts, or toss them in a brown sugar, ginger, and soy, or even cajun spice 'em!

Fries, Fries, and more Fries! - Shoestring fries were a huge hit at the restaurant, and we don't forget our fans. Look for shoestring fries to come back in a BIG way, with a selection of delicious toppings and cheese sauces. From nacho cheese to rarebit, we're serving up flavor!

Concession foods - We know Berea loves a good fair, and because you just can't get all those fantastic treats year 'round.... well, now you can! Funnel cakes, french waffles, hot corn on the cob! We'll be featuring a new specialty treat each month this spring and summer, and just like our ice cream, they'll be affordable, tasty, and perfect for the season!

Rosander has jumped on board an exciting new way to see what we're showing off, what's new, and what's worth coming downtown for.
