UPDATE! We have made several big changes to our wedding packages for 2023. Happy Earth Day! Since day one we made it a goal to shoot outdoors as much as possible. Having worked in the environmental sector the past almost decade, it was really important for me to incorporate that aspect into the business as much as possible (name, colors, etc.). Many times during shoots im pointing out plants and animal species to clients, never quite sure if they know about my expertise. But I hope I’ve helped people appreciate nature, even if just within the context of a nice photo they saw for a second ✨

Weddings are great but the real bond begins with the engagement shoot. That’s why we always push our couples to take advantage of the free engagement shoot that comes with our wedding packages, even when their wedding is soon. The photos are great of course (and so easy to edit compared to a wedding), but you also get more time to learn your what your couples are like (and vice versa). Plus, couples don’t always get all the one-on-one time they expect at their wedding and engagement shoots give another opportunity to cherish themselves as a unit 💕

So we did a thing! My clients were huge Star Wars fans, so I offered to step out of my comfort zone and find the force within me to do something special for them. I am by no means a photoshop or artistic lighting expert but I really wanted to offer them something a little special and different, even if it was more of a challenge for me. Overall they were happy, so I was happy! It was definitely fun to shoot and a good lesson of why we need to challenge ourselves in order to grow!
