Chloe & Oliver met as counselors at a summer camp on Higgins lake 9 years ago. It’s where they first kissed and where they fell in love.
Fun fact: They worked a wedding together there in 2017– guess who the planner was? ;)
And while they have traveled the world together, have lived across the pond, and finally settled in Seattle, it was only fitting that they tie the knot in the place that brought them together all those years before.
The weekend of their wedding, the weather was perfect, the vibe was high, the guests excitedly checked into their cabins while exploring this beautiful slice of heaven on the lake— and the celebrations begun.
They started with tacos and margaritas at the welcome party, complete with s’more’s around the campfire to wrap up the evening. The next morning, the wedding party and guests enjoyed activities, swimming, games and relaxing on the beach, before the ladies started hair and make up.
The ceremony took place at the chapel in the woods, followed by a lakeside cocktail hour. The tented reception was adorned with bright and pastel summer floral, soft textiles, blanket lighting, and personalized place settings as guests found their seats.
The energy was palpable, the toasts were sweet and emotional, the family style meal was divine, and once dancing began, the dancefloor was packed all night! A time was most certainly had!
Planning this charming celebration with C&O felt like a full circle moment for me. I loved every moment.
