Here we go with some BTS footage of Olivia & Dave’s big day 🫶🏻 When she brought me that gorgeous color palette, I was pretty excited.. Sunset colors with blue accents 👏🏻 I pulled from several local farms (@septembersflowers, @twohandsinthedirt, @abundantbloomsflowerfarm, @sparrow_flower_farm and @doxology_flower_farm) as well as our local GR wholesaler @angie.kgr.flowers @kennicott_grandrapids to not only hit the color palette but also Olivia’s vision for wildflower/garden vibes. She bought second hand vintage dishes for her tables that worked so well with the florals!! I also had to take a little video of that gorgeous cake created by @conniescakesgr. It was so beautiful!! And that ceremony scene was perfection: the golf course and fountain in the background…. A foreground of flowers and a background of rolling greens and shimmering water on a glorious sunny day @pigeoncreekeventcenter Congratulations Dave and Olivia, we loved creating for you and wish you a lifetime of marital bliss 💛

Olivia & Jordan’s Bridgerton inspired wedding day was pure magic 🤍 Romantic and ethereal with lush white florals and soft candlelight, perfect for this garden castle venue backdrop. Kelsey from @foxandfernevents was the lead planner (a gem to work with btw 🙏) and she absolutely nailed Olivia’s vision 🫶🏻. So many sweet details came together for this one, expertly managed by Kelsey and her team. We had a feat to accomplish installing that grand arch onsite and then moving it behind the head table afterward ceremony, which really completed the fairy tale mood (Hansel and Gretel - we left a trail of flowers and petals instead of breadcrumbs..ha!!) The Timeless Bridal Fashion Show Event 👊🏻⚡️ Hosted by @timeless_bridal_boutique and @mirrorballcollective at the beautiful new @venuebellagiornata last week I was given creative license to style the florals and decor for this by the hosts which is always a dream for me!! I instantly gathered inspiration and made a mood board inspired by those plaster columns @alexismastbrown had in her repertoire. So I made a backdrop with the help of @rtrue983, draped the columns with fabric, texted Holly of @gigiandlaclede to work her magic on the tables, gathered vases and candles to work with the place settings and floraled my heart out (also thankful for my new-this-year trusty floral assistant @twohandsinthedirt for helping me fill all those pots and bud vases and pack it all up!!). The full floral story from start to finish (or at least what I managed to capture in the midst of all the wonderful hustle and bustle of the week and big day 😉). We made some magic yesterday… Inspired by the glory of spring: forsythia, daffodils, tulips, lily of the valley and hellebores in their mood lifting, energetic shades of yellows and greens, this vision was a modern take on roaring 20’s luxury and glamour. The incredible historic gallery, or “living room” as its playfully and lovingly known at @kcadoffsu, my dear alma mater, was the perfect backdrop for an elegant dinner setting. The grand windows and old wood floors of an upstairs meeting room was a stunning canvas for our spring meadow ceremony. There were so many beautiful elements created by some of the best vendors our city has to offer, that stunning cake by @nantucketbakingco, an incredible stationary suite that I sadly didn’t get any BTS footage of from @prettypetalpapers. The bridal gowns were supplied by @timeless_bridal_boutique and tuxes/suits from @dunhilltuxedos. @wiersemajewelers provided some lovely emerald pieces. That stunning tablescape and other tables were outfitted with linens from @specialoccasionsmi and place settings and glassware from @gigiandlaclede, and chairs from @alpineeventsmi Get ready to see some incredible images coming from @truvision_studios of all of it!! A huge thank you to @valleyandoakevents who helped make my vision and design come to life. Her vendor contacts, coordination, careful planning, attention to detail and eye/brain to foresee logistics was so huge to this all coming together and running smoothly!! And another huge thank you to our stunning models, Leigha and Tanner, our bride and groom, and Taylor and Ty, our groomsman and bridesmaid 💛. Staci from @wild.emerald.bridal did an incredible job with their hair and makeup!!

This was a celebration of life, so you can imagine the bitter sweetness of it. By far the most incredible job of my career. It feels a bit like treading on holy ground to post this…and I’ve pondered over it for months. But this incredible floral dream is too good to not post. This was a celebration of Life, so you can imagine how bittersweet it was. It was an incredible honor to be asked to make April’s floral dreams come to life, but so bitter that she wasn’t there to enjoy it. Brianne & Michael’s mid-December wedding. While we are coming towards the end of a crazy blizzard here in Michigan, the snow we wish we had to make for a white Christmas has me daydreaming back to Brianne and Michael’s Big Day!
