It's been a while since I have posted. But this weird, wild, wacky time we are experiencing together as a human race has pushed some wedding ceremonies off. I don't have any people trying to navigate a ceremony until October. And though I miss officiating these joyous events, I truly believe something good will come from all of this. Great change only comes after great discomfort. And to all the couples in love, you will see that the wedding day is only part of your journey. Get married now..or wait. But your life together doesn't begin when you say "I do". You are in it...NOW!👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩💏

Heartbreaking Discovery Made At Auschwitz

HOPE. It's what kept many people going during these dark times. Really just amazes me that we continue to discover pieces of story.
I visited a 93-year-old congregant yesterday. She had 25 tapes from the library next to her chair, magazines and books she 'reads'. She told me "Everyone has a book to write."
Then she shared some of her story of incredible good fortune and lucky timing and also sheer terror at living with monsters in her town, Vienna. She travelled on the Normandie to freedom.
How fortunate I am to know these stories.
I won't forget them.

I am trying to be more social media savvy. While looking up something to share with my loyal Harmonious Wedding folks, I discovered we, as a society, focus so much on the negative. I Googled 'May 22 in history' and it was overwhelmingly bad news. I did discover that last year Ireland became the 1st country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote. So that is my positive post. Whew! Glad I found something not having to do with adultery, bombing, signing a hurtful treaty, or death.
