I’ve been djing weddings since 2011(?) correct me if I’m wrong. My very first wedding is one I’ll never forget. It was Emilie and George. They were friends from middle and high school. It’s still the biggest rager wedding in my mind…. And that’s when I was still using iTunes. I didn’t know how to mix music yet. I was just a karaoke DJ at that point.

I had a few sh*tty 2nd hand halogen lights, some old beat up Peavey 115s with an underpowered amp… an audible hum because I didn’t know what a power conditioner was… hell, I didn’t even have wireless mics yet. But damn that was a PARTY. (1st pic)

Flash forward to 2018 to my sister Alena’s wedding and I had powered Electovoice speakers, sound active lights, and something that resembled a booth. A hell of a lot better than my original setup but I knew I could do better. (2nd pic)

My most recent wedding was Kirstyn and Evan’s in August. (3rd pic) —I’m 90 percent proud of this setup. I’ve upgraded to a nearly all white setup. It’s classy and looks different than what most djs offer. I’ve got line array speakers, dmx controlled light bars, but I still have that stark black DJ booth.

Well… the newest and (nearly) final addition to my setup has been delivered - An all white DJ command center from ProX.

The only thing left on my wish list is to upgrade my up lighting to wireless white fixtures.

Pictures of my dream setup are coming Friday. I have my first wedding with the new booth and I am SO excited.

Music is a love language, and I love music from across the decades and mixing it all together for the specific crowd in front of me. That musical journey is my gift to you.
