RATTAN COLLECTION FOR YOUR SUMMER EVENTS

If you don't know already, my favorite pieces in my current collection are my rattan furniture. At the end of February, I took a long journey to Jakarta and Bali, Indonesia to attend the IFEX trade show and to visit my newest furniture manufacturer. The trip was fruitful, and I spent a lot of money to ensure I sourced uniquely designed pieces to add to my collection.

I have been grappling with the idea of becoming a wholesaler, particularly because I know how well rattan is received in home design for children's spaces. With the fast pace of the summer season, I plan to import a container for retail towards the end of the year, in time for holiday shopping.

Let me show you the new items I've purchased from my trip. The manufacturing process is much longer with rattan, than plastic or wood. I ordered these pieces in February, and everything is finally ready to ship. Crossing my fingers to receive everything my mid-July.

These beautiful rattan butterfly chairs will come in natural, pink, yellow, and purple.

I purchased several smaller rattan props {e.g., bear charger plates, mini balloon centerpieces, sports car centerpieces, butterfly wings, ranger cars, doll house, hot air balloons}.

My favorite color combination is black and natural rattan. It's a striking combination. I purchased additional round tables to satisfy my craving for black furniture. In the image below you'll see four different table colors {3 x black, 3x red, 2x blue, and 2x pink} and my new black bentwood chairs.

This past week, I embarked on a journey to Indonesia, where I discovered a rich tapestry of design inspiration that has ignited my creativity for new Petite Seats.

Immersing myself in the vibrant culture, I encountered stunning craftsmanship and unique aesthetics that left an indelible mark on me. I visited Jakarta and Bali (a.k.a. Tulum on Steroids). As a result, I am thrilled to share the first piece of our collection of chairs that seamlessly blend Indonesian influences with modern design, bringing an exquisite touch to any children’s space.

From intricately carved details to the use of sustainable materials, each chair will tell a story of artistry and culture.
