One of the first cakes I made when I started my business was a wedding cake on Halloween it was shaped like a Jack-o-lantern 🎃 . It was right around when I got together with my husband. He was my date and we dressed as a witch and a ware wolf (which was the them and everyone did their own interpretation). We had an amazing time I will always remember that night on Halloween.

With our friends at we are taking item donations to bring up to help the victims of the 21 fires in Northern California. 4629 MLK jr way in Oakland. Bring your new and gently used supplies by during business hours and we will get them up north this weekend and next. Things needed: baby supplies, camping supplies, water. Also if you want to donate money is taking donations.

I can't imagine what this view looks like now that fire is raging through. I'm thinking about you Napa and Sonoma counties and our friends and colleagues who live there. I traveled up your way many times this wedding season. I hope you are all safe and sound and I really hope this fire gets handled soon. Have been breathing smoke since 2 am here in Oakland I hate to think what it's like in wine country.
