Sophie & Brandyn dodged a bullet! When the atmospheric river hit, it scratched their original plans for a Santa Cruz mountains wedding. Roads were closed and power was out up in Bonny Doon. Day before the wedding they had to get a new venue and scored a nice little AirBnB for a sweet backyard wedding. The expected storm held off just enough for them to have a great wedding day and even brave the cold & wind for a quick beach walk. Stoked to be able to photograph their day like it was all planned! Congratulations!

I’ve been photographing The Geffert’s for many years now. A little over a week ago they aggressively rallied down to Capitola for a day trip from Nevada to have a session with me in my new zone! The kids are getting bigger and still cute and feisty as can be. I hope they don’t wait too long to come back down as next time, I’m getting the kids in the water for some surf 😉! @ Capitola Beach

Super HUGE congrats to my good friend for tying this last November! He and his beautiful Frances got in at the warehouse. Early Summer Truckee Wedding Donner Lake. Jessi and Mark did it! They finally tied the knot and did so in simple nonchalant style. We knocked out five locations and got some rad pics that really documented their day and the town in which they live and love. I love Truckee, Ca with a passion as well as it's the town that saved me from the doldrums of Fresno and introduced my wife and I to a whole new lifestyle and outlook on life and where our children were born.
