Cooking stuffed cabbage rolls w a twist....chopped n wilted cabbage, layered with meat, smothered with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese.

Cold morning, so a little comfort food!! Luv eggs benidect!!

Bit cold this morning...so a little baking!!

Blueberry pear cobbler!
Ripe pears
Blueberries
1/2 cube butter
1.5 c sugar
3/4 c tapioca granules
Blueberry vodka
Crust:
2c flour
1 stick butter crisco
1 egg YOLK
water

Spray pan w Pam
Chunk pears to fill 1/2 way
Cube butter, put on top of pears
Cover w blue berries
Ppur 1/3 c vidka over fruit.
Sprinkle w tapioca, sugar, and cinnamon.
Cut crisco into flour, add cold, cut in, add enuf water to make crumbly. Pour over fruit.
Sprinkle w water to set crumble.
Sprinkle w sugar and cinnamon.

Bake 350' 45-50 minutes.

You can mix filling together in a bowl...but butter has to be at pan bottom when cooking.

⭐ "Peso" might be the real star of the 2023 Wrangler NFR tie-down roping. Ty Harris, Shane Hanchey, and Brushton Minton all rode 12-year-old NFR veteran Daddys Shiner Cat, aka “Peso" in Round 4.

“He’s really steady in the box,” Logan said of Peso. “You can back him in there, sit forever and, no matter how he’s standing, he will leave off my hand. He’s the best-leaving horse I’ve ever had. I think that’s why a lot of people like him for the Thomas & Mack.”

Peso, by Shiners Black Cat and out of Paddy Lenas Twist by Paddys Blue Twist, was bred by Garry Charles of Grovedale, Alberta. Logan Bird of Nanton, Alberta, told calfroping.com that he bought Peso from a rancher for $8,000 in 2017. Peso was the 2022 Canadian tie-down roping horse of the year.

Camp version of loaded baked potatoes! I call them smashed n loaded!!
Cube gold potatoes n cook till tender.
Drain
Add 1 cube butter n smash!
1 c sour cream
1.5 c cheddar cheese
Cece savory mix 1 tbspn
Garlic granules to taste
1-2 c bacon bits

Stir it all together!!

Yum n ez!! No peeling...no leftovers!!
