Conflict Colorado The ultimate adrenaline rush for team building exercises and parties. Outdoor laser tag with multiple game types on several battlefields across Colorado.

Conflict Colorado is a fast-paced adrenaline rush for men, women, boys, and girls. It brings the excitement of video games like Call of Duty, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Counter Strike, and others to real life scenarios, and is both the most realistic and fun experience you can have without actually getting dead. Utilizing state of the art laser weapons and software, teams will compete against each

other in several mission styles and maps. Varied terrain and locations will keep the experience incredibly fresh whether it is your first or 1000th time playing. The weapons themselves have a range of 300m. That's 1000' feet, everyone! And unlike paintball or airsoft, it is a beam of light, so it is deadly accurate even at that range. And don't worry, your red-dot or rifle scope will help you target your enemy. Conflict Colorado provides a positive environment for team building exercises for corporations, small businesses, organizations, teams, and even individuals, wanting to work together to achieve common objectives. Here are some additional highlights of the experience.
• Laser skirmish is an incredibly fun and adrenaline-boosting experience for everyone involved.
• It avoids individual action and accolades in lieu of team-based objectives and outcomes.
• It promotes strong physical fitness, as teammates move all over the area and, if eliminated, must be revived by their base of operations or team medic, meaning there is a LOT of running around.
• The equipment is safe for everyone playing and spectating, as there are no visible emissions from the laser equipment, with the exception of some LED lighting to simulate muzzle flash.
• It is safe for the environment as there are no residual emissions from the laser equipment, unlike other sports such as paintball or airsoft.
• It is promoted by a company who appreciates the environment, and wants to keep it clean for everyone to enjoy.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!!

This is a great weekend for singles, doubles and small groups. Sunday and Monday are great days to enjoy the outdoors and introduce yourself in our Quick Deployment (90m) sessions. You can get familiar with the gameplay and weapon system. Then you can come back again for our more in depth Standard Deployment (half day) to get even more immersed in the experience.

And don’t forget to thank a vet for his service and remember why we have Memorial Day, to remember our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers that have fallen since we started this great nation. Our vets work hard to bring these events to you. We look forward to hosting you!

Here at Conflict Colorado we have all kinds of gizmos and gagets.
This guy right here is the cloner that we use for when you "die" in the game.

So one of the rules is: When you've been shot down and the medic doesn't get to you in time you actually "die" which then means you have to head back to the cloner, so you can come back as a clone of yourself.

We do the impossible every game.
Our mission is to get people out and about, working as a team, and at the end of the day to have a lot of fun.

We pursue our mission with excellence and integrity to help people become leaders, innovators and warriors for a day.

Here's one of our marksmen (Scott) hanging out in the back while our front men push forward. He's definitely waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

Laser Skirmish – Greater range, precision, and fairness

So what is laser skirmish anyway? Laser skirmish, laser combat, and laser tag are essentially all the same thing. Players have a weapon of some kind attached either through a wire or wirelessly to a headset or vest or both. The weapon fires a harmless infrared beam that is exactly like how your Blu-Ray remote sends a signal to the player. The headset or vest receives a “hit” which then makes the player take damage or eliminates them completely. The difference between laser “tag” and “skirmish” is essentially the realism associated with the system.

In a traditional laser tag venue, one will generally find “sci-fi” type weapons, although some venues are starting to use a slightly more realistic “looking” weapon. Nevertheless, the results are almost always the same. A player shoots another player. They are eliminated usually temporarily or sometimes until they return to a base to re-spawn.

Laser skirmish or combat is another evolution of the sport. It uses semi-realistic to completely realistic weapons just like the military. Each weapon works differently, based on its class, type, and size. For example, a squad operated weapon will fire faster and do more damage than a simple assault rifle like an M4 or AK47. A long rifle (sniper rifle) will usually do more damage than both, but takes longer to re-load than a rifle that uses a standard magazine, but not nearly as long as it takes to reload an LMG (light machine gun) such as an M249.

Of course, that still wasn’t good enough for Conflict Colorado, taking laser skirmish even farther with objectives and story to go along with combat and team tactics. Of course, for new players, sometimes it’s better to start with our Quick Deployment just to get a little more familiar with the general weapon system first.

No cheating allowed

With airsoft and paintball cheating is a lot easier. With a laser based game, it is very difficult to cheat, since once the sensors render you dead or out of the game, your weapon will no longer function. Trying to hide or cover sensors also triggers a “cheat” scenario which will shut down your ability to use your weapon. And in those cases, only a referee can get you back into the game, hurting your team in the process.

How about the referees?

In laser skirmish, as in any other competitive sport, one should be able to interact with other players, to think outside the box to achieve objectives. One should be able to coordinate as a team and increase one’s physical strength and improve their abilities by training regularly.
To maintain impartiality, it is important to have referees to make sure all players are treated fairly. Through story and scripting, they will explain the rules and clarify the objectives. They will punish cheaters and give penalties to the team. As mentioned previously, hits are registered by the weapon’s electronics which can not be tricked. Still some players occasionally attempt to talk to other players while eliminated or continue on to objectives. These behaviors are not tolerated and players are either warned or removed entirely.
What’s next?
Laser skirmish goes beyond just two teams shooting each other for the win. And at Conflict Colorado it often goes way beyond that. But if you haven’t played before, the first thing you will want to do is experience it. Get your feet wet with our Quick Deployment or dig all the way in with our Standard Deployment, where you get to learn some actual basic tenets of real combat, work with the most realistic weapons in the world and work as a team toward multiple objectives.

Return again and again to gain access to more advanced weapons and tactics, such as the RPG or claymore mines and a lot more.

Hello, everyone. I want to share a conversation I had the other day, mainly because we get this question a LOT. Tony is 64, overweight, and out of shape. His group wants spend time with us playing but Tony is concerned that he will “hold the group back” and wasn’t sure if he should play.
Just like Corey here in the picture, who also asked that question, we have people from all walks of life, fitness levels, and weapon skills (or complete lack thereof😀). And EVERYONE participates, AND has fun. This is a team effort. It isn’t anything like the laser tag you played anywhere else. Sure a really competent player can be successful… individually, but it takes a team effort to win. And as an aside, Corey was a beast with the SAW he is holding.
We have weapons of several different classes, so there is usually a fit for everyone. Some are heavy. Some are very lightweight. There are active combat roles and support roles.
So if you or your friend, girlfriend, teammate, co-worker, boss, coach, or just about anyone asks if anyone in your group can participate, and will they have fun, you can give a resounding YES!.
