It was 5:30 pm and the venue was perfect, the guest tables were dressed in black with fresh flowers and lighted centerpiece. The banquet tables were tiffany blue, and the dessert station backdrop was in glittery turquoise. The balloon arch was designed by Katie Baxter. We gathered around and had prayer for the evening's event. At 6:00 pm, our A+ staff attired in tiaras, and led by Millie Baxter, greeted guests and served smoked brisket with rolls, six cheese cheesy mac & cheese, chicken tenders and cole slaw. Melissa and Rita dressed in tiaras and lighted tutus, designed and served an endless dessert station. The gleaming 7-gallon punch fountain manned by Richard, flowed the night away with punch coming down the silver beads and spouts. Favorite DJ Bill Grove and his daughter kept the evening grooving with announcements of limo rides and music. Then at 9:00 pm - POOF! - it was over! It was truly a magical night for a few hundred fathers and their daughters. Everyone at UCREC did an excellent and great job!

Yesterday our three catering teams gave three couples at three great venues, wonderful memories on their wedding day. From the initial consult to the day of the event, it takes 5 teams with knowledge, creativity and unique skill sets to come together to do just that. Our team leaders Jennifer Queen Millie Kelley Baxter Linda Lawrence ROCK! Linda is also our director of operations and does double duty when she leads a team on top of her regular work. Stuart is our equipment loader/unloader team lead and gathers what equipment is needed. Alexis works the BEO or banquet event order. She has an "everything box" that houses all the little things our catering teams need, gloves, cake knives, and so much more and she gets your plates, silverware, cups, chafers etc. ready for the team leads to pick up. We also have a team for culinary. We also have a team of certified and trained staff who can bartend your events. So when you contact us for an event, all this comes into play and we give you the best of us! I am so, so very proud and grateful for all these teams. Absolutely LOVE LOVE them all! Our company from onset has been built with direction and wisdom from God and I'm so glad His grace and mercy is new every morning because I make mistakes! I thought you may want to know some of these things.
