Finished a custom piece a bit ago. The customer commissioned this as a gift. The armor is decorative steel, while the shoulder pauldrons serve an important function. The receiver's cat is a habitual shoulder rider. In order to give the kitty a more stable platform than humans provide, these quilted and reinforced feline pierce guards were devised.
