Due to the increasing snow and sleet coverage over the areas north and northeast of Lake Martin, I have decided to go ahead and reschedule tomorrows Wind Creek Bass Trail to next Saturday, January 18th! If you have pre-registered and can't fish next Saturday, please contact me (Mike Freeman) at 334-740-1267 or email me at [email protected]. Pre-registration has been extended until next weekend for those who would like to get on board. I will be sending this notification out on multiple platforms today, but if you know someone who doesn't use social media, please share this information with them.

The Sylacauga Marine BBBT event on Sunday is a go, and I will be there providing support for their event. I am working with Wind Creek State Park-Alabama to ensure that the ramps have sand on them, as the early morning temperatures will be in the upper 20's. The afternoon high on Sunday is forecasted to be in the low 50's.

As of now we are fishing on Saturday! The wet weather is supposed to be out of the area Friday evening. If something changes, I will notify you by email, text and social media (here). Highs will be in the 40's, but the sun is forecasted to come out in the afternoon. Winds are expected to be 10-15mph mid-day. Wind Creek will sand the ramps for us so we can safely launch. I am keeping a close eye on the weather, so please be aware of a potential reschedule should things digress.

The Sylacauga Marine Big Bass Buddy Trail is on Sunday. OGS will be supporting their event as well, so if we have to reschedule, consider fishing the Sylacauga Marine event on Sunday. The temperatures are supposed to be a bit warmer. -Mike Freeman, Tournament Director

OGS Tournaments, WETumpka Marine Electronics, Alabama Bass Federation, Inc and Larry Puckett Chevrolet would like to extend our gratitude to the over 200 anglers (131 boats) who participated in the WEM Bass Tournament on Lake Jordan the day after Black Friday in 2024. As a result of your participation, two donations were made to non-profits still working to help the people affected by Hurricane Helene. Hope For Crisis (non-profit in Western North Carolina) and the Cajun Navy (who is still in Western North Carolina working to support the communities in the Blue Ridge). We'd also like to thank Phoenix Boats and Stateline Marine for joining us in providing a donation to these organizations.

Bass anglers are always willing to help those in need!
