I couldn’t let World Party Day pass without sharing the party highlight of our day! My sweet Ellie turned 6 today and was showered with love and attention all day. Who am I kidding…this dog is spoiled everyday…and it’s mostly my fault. When you have a bunch of human boys in the house, the girl dogs get maybe a little extra attention. 💕🥳🎁🐶

I had so much fun at this one that I forgot to take many pictures! I was lucky to get to be a part of the grand opening event of this exciting new Pulaski boutique, Gem City Market! We got to celebrate the opening and a 40th birthday for one of the owners! These sisters have done such a beautiful job of creating an inviting shop for downtown!! Go check it out!!

It’s National Wedding Planning Day!! Planning your wedding is a huge task, but it’s so much easier these days, with all the DIY options available to couples. Do you know what you can’t do yourself on your wedding day? While you CAN, technically, coordinate deliveries, make sure decorating is done, organize your bridal party, and get yourself ready…it won’t make for a fun, memorable day. That’s why you need someone like me for day-of coordination!

It’s National Clean Out Your Bookcase Day AND National Muffin Day! While I have no intention of getting rid of any books, it does give me a good chance to highlight a side of my business I often forget to mention!

Shew, y’all, it’s been a looooong week! After all the Valentine’s cookies were out the door, I finished the week with some Harry Potter cupcakes (check out those toppers - all handmade and edible!) for the sweetest girl and one of my favorite cookie sets I’ve ever made for a sweet friend! It’s National Hot Tea Day! I have a kid who is super into tea right now (even foraging my dormant herb garden for options!) so this is kind of a big deal in our house. Thus, I will be using it as an excuse to avoid other things I need to do and figure out how to throw a teenage/tween boy appropriate tea party after school.

Tea parties (or after school tea times) are fun for all ages! You can see some of my tea-related party set ups in the pics below!

I’ve read that one should spend New Year’s Day doing what you want to do all year, so I used it to come up with Valentine cookie ideas! Doing this made me realize that I made a lot of cookies in 2023 that I never shared here, so I am now!
