Lifelong friends make the best customers!! I was so lucky to be able to be a part of the surprise birthday party for Joe at the always accommodating OMNI PLACE, LLC a couple of weeks ago. This was a fun crowd and I even got to play bartender! We love Sal's Radford and the whole Pugliese family! Thanks, Meghan, for letting me be a little part of such a special event.

*note to self - when ordering catering from the birthday boy for his own surprise party, don’t look him in the eye!! 🤣 Sorry for the deception, Joe!

I couldn’t let World Party Day pass without sharing the party highlight of our day! My sweet Ellie turned 6 today and was showered with love and attention all day. Who am I kidding…this dog is spoiled everyday…and it’s mostly my fault. When you have a bunch of human boys in the house, the girl dogs get maybe a little extra attention. 💕🥳🎁🐶

So lucky to be able to work such a loving and fun wedding with such a beautiful couple! Starting with the venue, Riviera Vines (y’all, check this place out…it’s beautiful and the owner and staff are so great to work with!) as gorgeous, the music, by truly one of my favorite humans, Scotty Scott DJ services was 🔥, the food, from Hethwood Market and The Olive Crumble Co. was fabulous, and the crowd was a blast! Congratulations, Jake and Angela!

I’ve read that one should spend New Year’s Day doing what you want to do all year, so I used it to come up with Valentine cookie ideas! Doing this made me realize that I made a lot of cookies in 2023 that I never shared here, so I am now! I hope you spent the day doing something you love and can enjoy all year long. How did we get here?

First, I'm a mom to three wonderful, unique boys. I'm also wife to a wonderful man (and the best "Bonus" dad any kids could ever want). My entire professional career has been dedicated to serving people in the New River Valley facing barriers to success. I have worked with people who have very little reason to smile or celebrate, but I am constantly surprised at how easily they often can. I decided to start Leave it to Lee Party Planning when I realized how much I truly enjoy creating events that are memorable and enjoyable...and how much event and party planning stresses some people out. I have a passion for making life easier for those around me and creating beautiful events that meet the vision of hosts and guests, alike.
