It didn’t take long after meeting Kate and Hudson and their families to see what an extraordinary match they are.
Their wedding day was thoughtfully classy, heartfelt, and a big party!
It was a celebration of the love story they’d been writing since their teenage years. Love that grows up with you is undoubtedly something to treasure!
We also enjoyed working with the people they chose to work with for their big day.

As Hurricane Ian made its way up the east coast, we closely watched the forecast. We had two weddings booked for the upcoming weekend and were crossing our fingers and feeling for the couples we knew were also anxiously watching and waiting.
Katie and Mark had to make the difficult call to move their wedding from Friday to Thursday with only a day's notice!
Anyone who has planned a wedding or been a part of one can probably vividly imagine the insanity of getting all the vendors and caterers, and guests for a big wedding a day earlier.
But they all navigated this crazy situation with such ease you would have thought they’d done it a thousand times before. If it were not for the somehow appropriately timed emergency alerts that chimed throughout the night, you wouldn’t know anything was out of place!
We’ve been lucky enough to do two weddings this year with the Bugas family. Pat and Kelly and Marc and Katie. One thing that stood out was how poignant, and well-thought-out the Bugas brother's speeches were. They are all in our unofficial wedding speech hall of fame. Our 3-year-old daughter Keneni also says that this is her wedding video, and she is now continuously quoting lines from the speeches. Particularly “a head-but that turns into a gentle nuzzle.”
We love these people and wish them all the best!

Sarah and Greg marked their wedding day with a classy black tie optional celebration set to the backdrop of one of Charleston’s most picturesque venues, Lowndes Grove. Their wedding day was elegant, classy, heartfelt, and so much fun.

Lowndes Grove is such a beautiful venue and Branch Design Studio topped it off with some gorgeous florals!
Something we love about weddings is the traditions and rituals that families choose to celebrate and honor. There’s something about performing a ritual that has been celebrated for generations and experiencing the feelings of connection and belonging that come up.
Oftentimes people use the word blending to describe culture-combo weddings. To me Kanika and Ethan’s wedding felt like a harmonizing as opposed to a blending of cultures. They each had their unique representations, rituals and elements that were wholly and completely honored.
It’s not surprising though after spending just a bit of time with Kanika and Ethan. They are such beautiful bright people individually and their personalities just harmonize, in that they are simultaneously remarkable together.
We loved doing this wedding for so many reasons! It was a wonderful surprise for us to finally have the chance to work alongside the insanely talented Kim (A Cottage Gardener) who did florals (and so much more) for our own wedding almost 7 years ago!

Their shared love of the city of Philadelphia, which brought them together, was elegantly infused throughout their celebration.
Friends and family came together in meaningful ways, offering up their art, music, and poetry.

We had so much fun working with Christiana and Joe to capture their intimate family wedding.
The Wentworth Mansion was such a charming backdrop as Joe and Christiana exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones.
Christiana and Joe have such pure and enchanting love for one another. It brought us so much joy to witness and document it!
When Krutika and Brad approached us a few months ago for their Indian-American wedding. We had never done an Indian wedding before and we were so excited for the opportunity.
After meeting on a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel Krutika and Brad were how things easily fell into place. As their lives wove together over time, they traveled to India together and sometime later decided they wanted to have coffee and bagels with each other forever.
It’s difficult to overstate the labors and love by so many that were put into every detail of this wedding! Down to every Bindi, piece of jewelry and decor!
It was so special to watch as each of Krutika’s bridesmaids were dressed in lehengas that had been custom made by family/friends in India. Krutika’s mom (a real-life superwoman who we are completely obsessed with) and her Aunt meticulously helped each bridesmaid wrap their stoles just right, put on all their jewelry, and made sure everything looked perfect!
Also, I don’t think we’ve ever seen Guests as FABULOUSLY dressed as we saw at this wedding! Dressed in all the colors of the rainbow, everyone showed up in their best and ready to party!
All the guests were welcomed into the celebration. Krutika’s brother Dhir and Mom patiently ;-) took on the responsibility to acquaint everyone with the traditional Dandiya or stick dance.
“OK everyone we’re going to demonstrate this ONCE!” -Dhir
After some trial and error with lots of practice and help from the pros on the dance floor, everyone did just fine and seemed to have lots of fun in the process!
There are so many things we could say about this wedding. But I’ll just say sometimes we do weddings and we don’t want to leave because we fall in love with the couple and their family! This was one of those times! x

It's hard to believe this day was 1 year ago!
This film was an opportunity for me to check something off my bucket list. Capturing this beautiful couple with this otherworldly scenery was such a dream.
Finding these opportunities to add another layer and dimension to the telling of a love story is what we are all about. Because, when a couple's story blends so well with the scenery and location, that's where magic happens.
Logistically there's not always time to do these kinds of shots on the day of the wedding. We actually filmed the canyon footage the day after their wedding.
We are always up for adventures!

We cannot get over how adorable these two are! When you are with Sarah Quintino Thoméh and Maycon Nunes you can’t help but feel the pure and genuine love they have for each other. We enjoyed spending more time with them and their beautiful families. Their wedding had a romantic, vintage, fairytale vibe which blended perfectly with the beautiful surroundings at Pen Ryn Estate. Kayla Strube and Barry are such a special couple. They've known each other since they were very young and have been together since they were just 17. Their relationship has withstood the test of time. As they gathered their family and friends to celebrate their love for each other it was plain to see that they have something really special, not only with each other but also with their adorable daughter. Their wedding took place at Springton Manor Farm and was a beautiful blend of classy, romantic and fun! The outdoor ceremony took place in the midst of beautiful rolling hills and farmland, underneath a picturesque linden tree. We are so thankful to have shared with them in their beautiful day! Shout out to Lily & Grace Photography for introducing us to Kayla! It's always a fun time working alongside Kaitlyn! These two braved the rain so that we could capture their Save the Date video at the beach! It was totally worth getting soaked! Now we can't wait for their wedding in July!
