Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

FUN FACT. Twenty years ago today, my now husband and I rekindled a high school relationship that had ended a decade prior (don’t do the math, it’s getting scary). After a few too many green beers, he told me he had always wanted to marry me. The fact that he was visiting for the weekend, and we both lived on opposite coasts hadn’t stopped him. Three months later I would be moving across the country to live with him. The rest wrote itself!

Did you know St. Patrick’s Day was originally a religious holiday celebrating Maewyn Succat, later known as St. Patrick? But, when Irish immigrants brought St. Patrick’s Day traditions to the United States, the day evolved into a secular celebration.
