✨Welcome to Barn at Ballard Creek!✨

I wanted to reintroduce ourselves since it has been awhile! Tim and I are so honored to get to share our 1905 barn with you!

Tim grew up in Janesville, MN with his 11 siblings on a beautiful farmstead! He always dreamt of owning his own farm with a barn, but his vision probably included animals IN the barn 😉 His degrees in Automotive Engineering and Master’s in Manufacturing have played rolls here every day and he is enjoying getting to teach these subjects at West High School!

I grew up a city girl in Northern California but always loved visiting farms and ranches as a young girl! Graduating from the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) with my Bachelor’s in Architecture, I never expected landing on a beautiful farm in Good Thunder but absolutely love it! I dreamt of doing work with historical restoration projects and I’d say this has been pretty darn close!

It is our honor and pleasure to welcome you to our home and give you the most amazing wedding experience for you and your guests! We’ve only just begun this journey and cannot wait to continue opening our home and hearts to you on your big day!

Seeing the smiles and love and laughter experienced here fills our hearts SO fully and we feel thank God for getting us here through a very windy, unexpected road!! 🙌

We are so thankful for an incredible 2024 Wedding Season and are counting down to 2025!! 🤍

Happy Friday!! Some of you might wonder what we do all winter here. We have a little recovery time and lots of cleaning and planning! ✨ Now that it is late January, I am able to slowly start seeds for our wonderful cut flower garden! 🌸 Today I started our first round.. 300 Lisianthus!! They are one of my favorite flowers!!! They are absolutely beautiful and look like roses, but no thorns! The Barn at Ballard Creek

WELCOME! We are so glad you are here! We purchased this amazing property in 2011 and knew instantly that the 100+ year old barn was so special. While it needed LOTS of TLC, we knew it was worth it! For years we have been working on removing hay and lots of “treasures” from the barn! It once was a dairy and was full of production and life and we cannot wait to let is shine again. My husband and I and our three little boys have enjoyed this beautiful space for years and we hope others will get to enjoy it as much as we have.
